Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
This was super yummy and rediculously rich! Definately need to eat it with a tall glass of cold milk. I used Kahlua and cooked it 10 minutes short of the instructions given (my oven runs hot). It came our perfectly! Thanks!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
Used 2#s of raw shrimp, tripled the sauce and added just a little more red pepper flakes as we like things SPICY. There wasn't any left, even my 4 year old cleaned his plate! Goes perfect with either steamed or fried rice. Thanks for a super easy, way yummy recipe!

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2006
This was really good! The only things I changed were: did not cube bread, halved it; toasted it in the oven with butter/garlic salt, slathered it with the mayo/cream cheese mix and then cut it into 2-3" strips. I used Classico Burgandy Marinara, no water. It is a bit soggy, but no soggier than most meatball sandwiches.

Cajun Catfish Supreme

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2006
The only change I made was to use 1 can of Cream of Shrimp soup to an equal amount of whipping cream. It was great served over Zatarain's Garlic & Herb rice mix (without the ground beef)! Thanks!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
Wow!! I changed it up a little, but it was fantastic!! I left out the peppers, oregano, and celery (personal preference), but did add 2 sliced jalapenos. I also used 1# spicy Italian sausage, 1.5# beef, 1 cup beer, and 4 fully drained cans of dark red kidney beans. For the canned tomatoes, I used 4 cans of Rotel: 1 extra hot, 1 original, and 2 chili fixins. If you like a HOT and SPICY chili with a kick, this will certainly do it!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
Yummy!! These came out perfect! I let the shrimp marinate for a few hours in a little lime juice, coconut milk, sliced jalapenos, and garlic before coating and frying them. My husband and my 2 year old gobbled them up!!! Thanks for a great recipe!!

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2005
Yummy!!! This really is restaurant quality!!! I added mushrooms and black olives; doubled the chicken broth and cream with a little corn starch to make it a little saucier and thicker. I also used chicken tenderloins and sauteed them with garlic salt and lemon pepper.

Creamy Chicken and Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2005
Yum, yum, yum!!!! I followed this pretty much to the 'T' except: I used white rice instead of brown, added shredded carrots, and used some precooked, frozen Sweet Chili chicken breasts. I also did not add additional milk; I left it thick and we ate it more as a casserole type dish instead of a soup. Makes a ton; I will definitely half this one next time!! Thanks Heidi!!

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: May 21, 2005
This dish was fabulous! I made a few mods that really heightened the flavor. I added: 2 green onions, 1 T minced garlic, a small can of black olives, a pinch of garlic salt, and a dash of hot sauce (hey, we're in Texas, hot sauce goes on everything!). My husband is not fond of cream sauces, but even he liked this one! Thanks Loretta!!
