Good Morning All, I started cooking from scratch (hard core) at the beginning of this year, and I find it so relaxing. Just this morning I made Strawberry preserves (I did use pectin), chicken salad and pita bread all from scratch (to include the mayonnaise used in the chicken salad.  

I am especially interested in canning, and I have a 23 quart pressure canner. The first thing I canned using the pressure canner method was chicken stock. 

This morning I used the boiling water bath method to can the strawberry preserves. Which I will serve on homemade bread I made on Saturday.
