Chile for Tamales

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2004
Maybe I made a mistake but 5 cups of water seemed a bit much for my margaretta blender. Also was I suppose to soak the pods because blending they just broke them up. Anyway if I try again I will soak and maybe use chicken or beef broth for liquid. Over all it did not make a good sauce for tamales. Maybe someone else will have better luck

I liked this recipe but my husband didn't care for it I think he was dissapointed thought it was an apple pie I had made. His 85 year old grandmother loved it had it with some coolwhip topping and a sprinkle of cinnamon she said it was great.I goofed a little started to mix the flour and sugar with pears and realized I was supose to layer mixture over pears oh well still came out great!

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2004
Loved this recipe...YUM. Did cut back on the olive oil to 3 tbspoons left everything else the same. I buy the salmon fillets at Costco and adjust the recipe accordingly. Husband loves it even my 3 year old son likes it. Thanks for the recipe Norma. Will keep this one w/family recipes.

A Marinade To Die For

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2004
marinaded skinless chicken breast last night grilled them this afternoon, turned out ok. The chicken was not dry but thought it needed something. Husband and kids liked it. I did use other reviewers suggestion and sub olive oil for butter to avoid flare ups will probably make again. Over all good
