Easiest Spicy Cod

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2015
Was looking for a good baked cod recipe (low cal/fat) & this simple recipe was surprisingly delicious!! I recommend using a good quality salsa that you like. We will make this again & again!

Pepperoni Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2013
This was delicious! Changes I made were simply to tailor the dish to my liking, such as using a 12 oz. box of rotini because we like our pasta casseroles to have a good meat/pasta balance. Also, I only had about a 3/4 c. of cottage cheese, added it nonetheless, and lastly scaled back the pepperoni to half. Can't wait to make this dish again! Would be great for a pot luck!

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2013
These were delicious!! Made exactly as is, didn't try the flour like some others, but I used cheap cut chops that contained enough fat to keep them moist. If you're using leaner cuts I would do the flour coating to seal in juices. Thanks for a great recipe -- my mom used to make this often when we were kids!'

Terri's Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2013
This is a keeper. The only thing I did diff. was use rice vinegar (didn't have plain), sub'd brown sugar for white & spicy brown for yellow mustard. Oh so good; served at a kids bday party -- big hit!

Cranberry and Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2012
I had 4, 8oz chops & 30 mins w/ cover & 10 off was too much -- chops were tough & dry : ( I will try again because the flavors of the apple/cranberry mixture were yummy! I'll reduce baking time to 20 mins w/ cover, 10 w/out next time

Easy Chicken Alfredo II

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
This was a fantastic, virtually guilt-free, base sauce! I embellished with the spices as other reviewers did & added sauteed onions and bell peppers (omitted minced onion), and boy was it rich! I doubt anyone could tell it wasn't heavy cream! Tip: Remember to adjust your sauce accordingly when adding more pasta &/or vegetables to recipe -- I didn't and ended up short on sauce -- better to err on the side of too much in my book ; ) Bon Appetite friends!

Steak N Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Always looking for good venison recipes -- this one is a KEEPER! I unfortunately can't have mushrooms, so I subbed by sauteing yellow bell pepper with the onion. Also, didn't have beef gravy so used 2 packs of powdered turkey gravy mix mixed with equal parts water/milk -- turned out GREAT! Will try with beef gravy next time; sure the results will be just as delicious!

Yummy Tater Tot Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
Brought this to a pot luck banquet...went over real well! Even gave out the recipe to someone. Had to use cream of onion soup, since my body doesn't like mushrooms & only had fried onions for crunchy stuff.

Great! I give 5 stars for any recipe that works right... my wings came out tasty all or their own & some of us dipped them in our favorite sauce. Will be using this alot...wish I would have looked it up BEFORE football season!

Catherine's Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
This came out PERFECTO! I used one reviewer's suggestion: poured a 1/4 c. worchestershire sauce over the roast, then course salt & pepper. I was afraid of trying a str, but I'll make this again & again -- thanks!

Jayme's Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
This slaw is SWEET (tasting, I mean)...little too much for me, but the hubby liked it fine. Will make again, but will cut back on the brown sugar & cider vinegar a bit. Also, I liked the ease of preparation.

Simple Time Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
Melting the butter & using a basting brush and having a squirt bottle type mayo makes quick prep time. Worked okay using asst'd cut, bone-in chops too. It's a good base recipe; wil add add'l seasoning next time.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
This was so, so good! Followed recipe except I doubled the gravy per another reviewer's suggestion & I had a red bell pepper I needed to use, so I added it in with the onion. It's been requested that I make this again soon! Thanks.

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
Only gave this 3 stars because it was just plain ole tuna casserole; guess I was thought the chips would add a special element. It was good, but nothing that I haven't tasted before.

Sunflower Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
Just what I was looking for! My local deli has a wonderful salad similar to this, so I was looking to duplicate it. One thing I don't recommend is adding cherry tomatoes. I did this & found that it took away from the flavor/sweetness of the salad. Thanks for sharing this recipe

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
How easy & flavorful! I recommend following the recipe to a "T" so as not to overseason, the seasoning works for a 3-4 lb. bird. I will use this recipe often, thanks for sharin! One thing I'm puzzled by though is how in the world do you get 8 servings out of a 3lb. bird? That feeds 2, maybe 3 in my house...ha,ha,ha.

Worked perfectly; sprinkled some Good Seasons Italian Dressing mix in the bread crumbs...delish! My kid is fussy about his shrimp & it was a hit with him! Thanks for something easy & tasty.
