Fabulously Sweet Pear Cake
I was really looking forword to making and tasting this cake as I love pears. I read all of the reviews and decided to make in a pretty bundt pan. I was really unsure of the cooking times as many reviews descrived different time recommendations. I baked in a bundt pan for one hour and fifteen minutes and this was too long. The flavor was very good and it smelled heavenly, buy the cake got a rather hard crust and was a bit ont he dry side. I will try again in a bundt pan and keep in the oven for only an hour. Also, I may try to cut back on the oil as this is an excessive amount.

Cola Sauerkraut
This recipe really took me back to when I was growing up with my Lithuanian Grandma cooking pork roasts. I was never able to authenticate her sauerkraut until this recipe. I rinsed the brine very well from the sauerkraut first as I try to watch my sodium consumption. I did not cook the sauerkraut in the liquid the whole time, but drained it after it heated through about fifteen minutes and then added to my pork roast with kielbassi. The flavor was excellent, I also added some carway seeds to the kraut. Thanks for sharing such a great recipe.

Quick Gnocchi
I was hesitant to try this recipe as I used to make homemade gnocchi with my Grandma on special holidays and other occasions. I had in my mind what gnocchi should taste like. These were sensational gnocchi, similar in taste and consistency to gnocchi made the old fashioned way with boiled potatoes. I have shared this recipe with other family and friends and they all give rave reviews. The dough is really nice to work with. Thanks for such a great and time saving recipe.
