Woof-Woof! These roll out nice and easy. Used bone shaped cookie cutter & gave as gifts to doggis friends. Freeze well.

Diabetic Dog Treats

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2008
Made this for my neighbors diabetic dog. Replaced the meat with 2 small jars of chicken baby food. My cat even liked these treats after I broken it up in small pieces.

Grandma's Noodles II

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2008
Great addition to my homemade chicken noodle soup. So much better then the box noodles---could not have been easier to make. I didn't bother to let them dry out, they worked fine.

Vegetarian Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
Didn't care for the sauce on these, it seemed to missing something. I might try the meatballs in a pasta sauce next time. I didn't think the sage seasoning in the meatballs went with with the sweet & sour sauce.

Grilled Romaine Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
Oh, My!! This was outrageously good! Hubby and I loved it, but, the kids wouldn't eat it. :) It is really different, & not as time consuming as it reads. I did use fresh rosemary. The dressing made up a huge amount...next time I'll only make a half or less of the recipe. However, it won't go to waste, it's a wonderful dressing for other salads.

Chili-Lime Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
These did not have as much flavor as I had hoped. The chicken was nice and tender after marinating about 4 hours, but, needed some kind of sauce to go with the rice.

Brazilian White Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
This was good, almost like a white rice but I liked the texture better. The flavors where very subtle...next time I will add more onion and garlic. It went well with the Kabobs I was serving it with.

Half and Halfs

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
These were very good & cool looking. After reading thru most of the reviews...here are my suggestions for great cookies: 350 for 8 min. (they came out perfect). Added: 1/4 t. baking powder to both batters, and upped the baking soda to 1/2 t., increased the white suger to 1/2 cup. Used my 1.5" cookie scoop and dropped white/chocolate balls onto cookie sheet---cut each in half and then put a white half and chocolate half together pressing into a oval type shape. They came out rounded. Everyone loved!

Pesto Tuna Salad with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
Interesting combination of flavors. Different from the usual tuna salad. Only used 2T. of pesto/sun-dried tomatoes (as I think 1/4c. would of been too much). This would make a good addition for a finger sandwich assortment for a bridal/baby shower.

Homemade Pan Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
These where pretty good. Made two times....the second time, I did follow the ingred. order from the reviewer above me and I think they did turn out better. 24 rolls worked perfect in my 9x13 stone casserole dish.

Thought this needed a bit more flavor. Otherwise, a nice dish for a crowd. Next time maybe add some sauted onion.

If you are on a diet...DO NOT make these! I had to freeze these before I ate half the pan. Way too easy to make.

Fantastic Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
I really liked this, as many said much better the next day. Freezes well. I froze several 1 cup containers for lunches to wrap in a tortilla or added rice...very good. *Update* Made it again, this time added 1 extra can of tomatoes, some cumin & a small can of diced jalapeno's.

Chicken and Corn Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
Really good and really, really easy! I used fresh salsa and only used 3 chicken breasts--as a few mentioned 4 would of been too many. If you use 4, you really need to increase the corn and/or beans or salsa. We enjoyed it, but, it was a strange consistancy---kind of between a chili & dip for tortilla chips. Still, will make again just need to add more liquid.

Spinach Enchiladas Verde

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
These are made at least once a month. So EASY and my family loves them. A great way to get my kids to eat spinach. The enchiladas also freeze very well. **update**Thanks to a reviewer below suggestion....I added to the sour cream mixture: onions & garlic I sauted in a little olive oil/butter. Makes these even yummer!

Herbed Buttermilk, Garlic and Parmesan Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
This dressing was very runny. I made it for the Layered Spinach Salad--which it worked fine for. Next time I'll double to pour over the Layered Spinach Salad.
