Can a dessert that looks this delicious be good for you?  Sure can!  :)  When it's a Cooking Light recipe it can't long as you don't eat the whole pie!

Last June Grumpy and I celebrated our anniversary late.  Both of us let it slip right by us without realizing it.  So, to make up for it, I made us this delicious tart.  Our anniversary is coming upon us already this year.  It is so hard to believe how quickly a year can fly by on us.  While we will have been married 6 years this year, we will have been together 10.  So yes, I knew he was a grumpy butt way, way before I married him.  I just knew that I'd rather have him Grumpy than not have him at all!

You can find the recipe for the Strawberry-Almond Cream Tart on The Life & Loves of Grumpy's Honeybunch!  Enjoy!

Thanks for that...on that website, do you need to pay to be a supporting member to blog like you do here?

Yes I think so. I decided to become a paying member for several reasons and blogging was one of them. I think that after using this website for as many years as I have that it only made sense that I should support them. Plus there are some perks to being a paying member!

About Me
I am a home cook who works full time and have been a blogger on my own site, Grumpy's Honeybunch, since 2007. I love to experiment and create in the kitchen. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good, but always fun! My one place I am not the best at is the grill - and I leave that to Grumpy! Since I started using AR several years ago, my home life has changed a lot. We had to relocate for work purposes, My sons no longer live at home and its just Grumpy, me, and our 3 cats. I am a participant in the Allrecipes Allstar program and have had a great time with the challenges as well as the great people I have met through the Allstar program!
My favorite things to cook
I always was a baker but since I started blogging almost 5 years ago, I have also become a more experienced cook. We love pasta meals and especially Asian inspired meals. I love homemade candy although I'm not the best candy maker, I will still attempt it every so often. My very favorite sweet treat from this site is Brooke's Bombshell Brownies. I've taken the recipe and used it as a base to create several different brownie recipes, my favorite being "when life gets you down" brownie (chock full of Peanut Butter flavor) and a peanut butter caramel swirled brownie. Both recipes are on my blog
My favorite family cooking traditions
Summer fish frys at my aunt and uncles home. Homemade fudge and popcorn on Saturday nights while a child! When my boys were younger Friday night was homemade pizza and movie night and some of my most special memories are baking cookies with Nanny. I have every one of her "special" cookie recipes on file and when feeling nostalgia hit I will bake one of her recipes.
My cooking triumphs
My best compliment ever - a cheesecake I made was described to be "better than Juniors!" The pumpkin fudge recipe on this site that I reviewed at 5 stars....this is an awesome cooked fudge recipe. My son totally loves the fudge and so do I!
My cooking tragedies
Once when I was first married, I made fudge. It didn't set up and I was too embarrassed to tell my hubby, so I hid it in the closet (no idea WHY I did such a thing!) and ended up forgetting about it. We came across it one day cleaning and I had to fess up, he had more of a laugh because I tried to hide it!
