About this Cook
I love to eat and I love to cook when I'm in the mood. I have a very small kitchen and so I have to be in the mood to not only cook but immediately clean in order to have work space.
My favorite things to cook
Breakfast. Waffles & Pancakes & Sausage Gravy & Homemade biscuits. I also like to make confections. I like to try to make new stuff that I see on tv or in restaurants.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Homemade Flour Tortillas used for homemade burritos...especially the kind with potatos. Pot Roast on Sundays. Cabbage Rolls. Homemade Spaghetti Sauce.
My cooking triumphs
I can make really delicious cinnamon rolls. I've made them for holidays and parties. Everyone loves them.
My cooking tragedies
I usually experience tragedies when I bake bread. And, many times I've burned things on the grill. I just can't seem to get shisk ka bobs cooked right.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
I made these exactly as stated and they have turned out perfectly every time. Light, fluffy - crispy on the edges and delicious!!! I printed this one out and it's taped to the inside of my most used more store bought mix for my family! THANKS for sharing this recipe!

Granola Bars III
I have made these "as is" and they've turned out great. I recently made them with the following changes and they turned out even better than 5 stars! Changes: used 2 eggs for a chewier granola, used 1/2 the honey and 1/2 the sugar called for, cooked at 330 degrees until slightly browned on the edges and score as soon as take them out of the oven. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!
