Wow, I am surprised at how good this is, I suppose I should have anticipated it with the reviews, but it is very yummy. I had no trouble with the sauce and wonder if others are using the flour called for and letting it simmer until thickened? It didn't pour over while baking and is the perfect sauce not runny at all. I did sprinkle cinnamon on my apples before putting the top crust on as personal preference. I made this again and both times there was a lack of the apple pie baking smell. The glaze over the crust darkens quickly and causes a burning smell instead, so I decided to dock one star for that.
