Salmon with Dill

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
Made this tonight and it was a big hit with my family. I had to omit the pepper because my husband doesn't like it. Other than that, I followed this recipe exactly. Very quick, easy, and delicious meal to make through the work week. I served rice and steamed green beans with it. Yummy!

Oven-Fried Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
Absolutely delicious and moist! I was surprised at how easy this recipe was. I took the advice of others and used bread crumbs instead of the stuffing mix. They were the garlic and herb kind and made a nice coating. I also increased the cooking time by 10 minutes or so, but this could just be the difference in my oven. I've been cooking for a while now, but I am by no means an expert so I always look for quick and easy meals to make during the week. I've finally found another pork chop recipe worth keeping. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
I have made this recipe for a few years now and it is a hit every time. I didn't change a thing about the recipe. It is exactly what I was looking for. My grandmother used to make sweet potato pie, but her instructions were "just add a bit of this and a pinch of that". This is the only recipe that gives my granny's pie a run for the money. It is now a staple in all my holiday cooking. If you are looking for a down home southern style sweet potato pie like you remember when you were little, you've found it. Stop looking.

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
This is exactly what I was looking for in a side dish. I made it for Thanksgiving dinner today and there is NONE left. I didn't change a thing with the recipe. Thanks Pam!

Stove-Top Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
I did not like this recipe. I followed it to the letter. The appearance and smell were wonderful, but the taste was awful. There was a grainy texture to the final mix and I couldn't taste the cheese at all. I made this for Thanksgiving dinner, but luckily I had a container of Velveeta and I also doubled the amount of macaroni I cooked just in case this didn't turn out. Sorry, but I'm going to keep looking for another mac and cheese recipe.
