About this Cook
Hi, I'm 17 this year and first started cooking and baking at the age of 13. Started off terribly, but am now quite fantastic in the kitchen. Used to have my own online business selling french macarons and entremets but have now shut that down since I plan on making it big time. I was supposed to attend Le Cordon Bleu this year but that has been delayed. I'm just praying that I'll eventually get to go there.
My favorite things to cook
Salads, Pasta, Gourmet Sandwiches, Entremets, Yeast Breads, Indian-influenced dishes, Modern Asian
My favorite family cooking traditions
We dont have traditions!
My cooking triumphs
Perfecting Macarons
My cooking tragedies
My first batch of cookies came out burnt and tasted like sand.

Clone of a Cinnabon
How freaky is that! I made this yesterday, planned on reviewing it today, and surprise surprise, it's recipe of the day! I halved the recipe and made 6 cinnamon rolls. They are HUGE! Next time I'll probably make 8 out of a halved recipe. The dough was kinda difficult to roll out cos it kept on shrinking back to its original state! Other than that, the rolls are great. I did not make the cream cheese icing, but made a basic icing sugar+Cream frosting.

Fried Apple Pies
I did not care for this recipe! I'd give it 0 stars if I could. The Pastry was so thick and doughy..not like fried apple pie pastry at all! It was more of a asian curry puff pastry.....and don't get me started bout the apples! They were dry and just horrible...the dough was impossible to manage and it just went everywhere...I will never attempt making fried apple pie ever again.

Banana Muffins I
Great muffins. I would increase the oil content, though. Also, it wouldn't hurt to have a little more mashed banana in the batter.
