Lemon Herb Barbeque Sauce for Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
It was good, but not exceptional. I doubled the recipe, but didn't double the salt. I also used thighs. Next time I'll use all the lemon zest and double the salt. I also used fresh Thyme.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
Delicious! Only adjustments: I added 5"-6" of pepperoni (cause we LOVE pepperoni), I used dried Italian seasonins instead of the fresh hers, cause that's what i had, I used Tony Cahere's instead of salt and pepper, and I added about a cup of water. YUMMY!

Beef Stroganoff II

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
Very good. I used stew meat, added the beefy onion soup mix, and a bit more liquid, Then baked to make sure the meat was nice and tender.

Best Ziti Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2004
I made this recipe, but modified it because I was just being REALLY lazy and kind cheap :) I halved the recipe since everyone said it made so much food. I halved it and we still had enough left overs for a couple dinners! First, ground beef was cheaper at the store than sausage so I used that and threw in a little Italian seasoning. I just used jar sauce. I also threw in some sliced pepperoni, because that is what my botfriend likes. The only thing I will do next time is drain the ricotta a bit more and perhaps stir in and egg. But this is a GREAT recipe. Like Lasanga, but MUCH easier and much cheaper! I will definately make this agian

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2004
I have been looking for a baked, yet creamy rice pudding like my gram used to make. Tonight, I had a taste for rice pudding, but really didn't feel like waiting for the whole baking process, so I gave this one a try. It is delicious! Reminds me of the brand you can get and the grocery store in those little containers, but much richer. I used canned evaporated milk, which made a very rich dessert. I don't like raisins, so I didn't add any of those. I followed the exact directions and added a little cinnamon and nutmeg at the end. I had to try some warm. I thought it could have used a touch more sugar, but even without it it was great and may not be meant to be all that sweet. Another addition to my recipe box.

Mock Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2004
This was very good and easy! Tastes just like the real stuff except no messing around with that dran candy thremometer. Two suggestions: 1. Next time I will use a much lareger pan so I can press it thin, this time it was thinker and you almost cracked a tooth eating it right out of the fridge. 2. It would be great if you could add just a touch of salt so you could have the sweetness off the peanut butter and corn syrup and saltiness of the peanut butter also.

Crab Rangoon III

This is a very good crab rangoon I followed the advice of another review and added more cream cheese (another block) and green onion (fom my own garden!) I also omitted the water chestnuts. I will never gorge myself at the Chinese buffet again, when I can make these at home! YUM

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2004
Three years ago my family and I started a tradition of making pizza on Christmas Eve. Thei first year I made this crust and a crust in the bread machine. Believe it or not my family actually like this crust a whole lot more! I like to add a touch more olive oil and dried basil and oregano to the crust with the flour.

Fettuccini Carbonara

This recipes is absolutely fabulous! It's also fairly easy (just prep everything before you start cooking). Also, try the sauce without the bacon. It makes a fabulous alfredo sauce.

Reuben Sandwich II

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2004
This is THE Reuben! Taste just as good as the diner's. I only made one and really didn't follow the directions and it tasted great! Pressing the sandwich a bit really helps keeps everything from shifting all over the place when you turn it. but it would be great if this was made on a panini gril also! Make sure you have the heat on low enough so it takes enough time to melt the cheese and warm the corned beef and saurkraut. Also, I'm a butter girl, but think you would HAVE to make this with butternot margarine.

Hot Jezebel

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2004
made this because I was looking for a recipe similar to a appetizer I had at a cookout, that was made with a well know, more expensive pepper jelly. This really captures that taste, but it took a little convincing to get my familar to try it, but once they did they scarfed it up!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2004
This is absolutely fabulous! I told my boyfriend he needed to get a slow cooker, but he didn't believe me, so I took my mom's over to his place and made this. It was both of our days off, so all I did was chuck all the ingredient, except the cream cheese into the crock pot and off we went. When we got home the apartment was filled with lovely smells (usually thet are comming from someone else's!). I chucked the cream cheese in and turned in down on low and covered it. By the time our show was of it was ready. The beef get so tender and I really like the cream cheese more than the usual sour cream also.

Amy's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2004
These cookies are fabulous! I don't care for soft cookies, as alot of times soft = raw dough taste in the middle of the cookies. These are nice and chewy and stay that way. They have a crisp bottom, but a nice chewy texture. I don't need to search for chocolate chip recipes anymore because I have found the best!

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2004
This potato soup was the first and last recipe I have ever made. I is so thick and creamy. It doesn't seperate when refrigerated then reheated also. I also like to throw in a little chicken broth for flavor and to thin this lucious soup down. You will never eat that stuff out of a can once you see how easy and tasty this recipe is.
