Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2013
Loved this recipe! I also added tomatoes but I would have given it 5 stars without.

Skillet Pork Chops Florentine

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
I seasoned the pork chops prior to browning as other reviews have suggested. As I was doing that I realized I had no jarred spaghetti sauce and had to make my own! It was good, honey said it was VERY good. My only issue was getting over the pork with red sauce as I have only grilled or made with cream of (insert soup here). All in all, I'm very pleased to have another way to make pork chops and it was very tasty.

I was for SURE that this was going to be too bland. My entire family gobbled it up! Very good.

Restaurant-Style Taco Meat Seasoning

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2012
I make this in big batches and keep it in my old "taco seasoning" container. So much better than the store bought stuff! And if you don't have corn flour, you can double the amount called for with regular flour :)

Sausage Potato Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
It's a good base recipe with variations on the soups for whatever you have. My "men" of the house gobbled this up and then some. It didn't blow my socks off, but it definitely was not bad.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
It was definitely the best lasagna recipe I've made to date. Honestly, I like the regular "jar o'spaghetti sauce" but with this recipe, I'll never make lasagna that way again.

Roasted Herb Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
Couldn't have been MORE surprised by how this turned out. Only dry plates were left in this house. I did add mushrooms to my potatoes and 1/4 onion in the cavity of the chicken (which I do no matter what the recipe is). Mmmmmmmmmm. This has been in our regular rotation since the first time I made it!

Black Bean Avocado Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
This was just ok for me. Most people who did eat it did so with tortilla chips. It wasn't bad at all, nice flavor just didn't blow my socks off.

Barbecued Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
To be honest - I had low expectations of this dish. I thought it couldn't be as good as the original "pot roast". I was delighted as this was very good! I made it with a serving of rice. The 2nd night, we made sandwiches. Very versatile with what and how to serve.

Ham N Asparagus Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
Very good! I added sliced Kraft singles to half of my batch - just roll them on up! The dip was very good as well. Not amazing...but still a very good recipe to bring to a get together.

I didn't even have leftovers to take to work the next day! It didn't make me feel bloated like regular spaghetti. Yum yum.

Maine Lobster Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2012
This was a very good recipe! We had lobster tails we bought on sale for $5 each and I wanted a different way to prepare them rather than the same ol' way. While I cut this recipe in half - it was still enough to feed our entire family. It's pretty rich so you really can only eat a couple of pieces at most. VERY YUMMY. A hit with everyone!

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
Very good! I unfortunately forgot the onion but it was still great without it. It will be too soupy if you keep all of the liquid in it - just add enough of the juice back in after shredding to keep it moist. Makes A TON of leftovers.

Pot Roast Dips

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
If I were rating for my honey - I would give it a 5. He said these were better than (gulp) his mom's! But - they were a tad strong for me. Still amazing, but couldn't finish it all. However - I did replace the water with beef broth, and I had to leave it in the slow cooker after shredding a little longer than I had planned. Still - will DEFINITELY make again!

Pizza Pinwheels

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
Just ok. I'm a sauce lover and you really can't put a ton of sauce in them before rolling or it'll be super messy. BUT - that's just my personal taste. I did dip them in pizza sauce afterwards, but it wasn't what I was looking for.

Tex-Mex Pork

This was just OK. Had 2 pieces of meat to use up, so I made this and one other recipe that I had made before. I had high hopes this one would be better. Not bad, but not for us.

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
The first time I made this, I made a mistake and added 2 - 7 ounce cans of green chilies and it was amazing!!!! Once I figured out my mistake, I made it as written, and it was still good, but not as good as my oops. Even the kids rave for this one!
