About this Cook
I am a widowed male presently remarrying. I enjoy coking. My wife to be works shift work and i am retired and so I enjoy making some recipes in bulk so as to have plenty of food items in the freezer.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook stews, lasagna, manicotti, beef chicken and caseroles, and nice salads. .
My favorite family cooking traditions
items I can do in the slow cooker but not limmited to this. Not a dessert maker.
My cooking triumphs
My favourite triump was a xmas dinner i cooked from scratch including all the herbs and spices that had to be finely chopped. I spent all evening and into the wee hours of the moning. I did obtain some recipe items from famous rstaurants including the dressing for the turkey.
My cooking tragedies
My cooking tragedy , was a dessert which as I indicated above , i do not do. I made a cheese cake from an internet recipe ( not yours). There was typo error that a woman or someone used to making desserts would have noticed and adjusted accordingly. The problem was it called to cook it for 1 1/2 hours at 150 degrees. I did this religously. This was for a large family gathering and we ended up using straws to consume the dessert.I made it again another time, cooking at the correct temperature and it turned out fantastic
