Low Sugar Strawberry Rhubarb Crunch

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
I thought this was really good. I made the recipe as is with no changes. It was a tiny bit tart, but that's to be expected with rhubarb. Mix it with a scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt and it's perfect!

Blueberry Jelly

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
This came out really well. I used 6 cups of blueberries and added 5 cups of water, boiled for 45 minutes and got about 5 cups of juice. Put the blueberries back into the pot with another cup of water to get to 6 cups. Next time I'll used 6.5 cups of water. The juice was a nice dark color. Cut the sugar to 11 cups which was still plenty. Followed the instructions to process the jars and they all sealed. Made about 5 pints. I thought it tasted really sweet, but my hubby and son love it. Thanks for the recipe!

Grilled Filet Mignon with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
This was amazing! Soooooo good. I was able to make the sauce ahead of time, which was nice. I used a little more cheese (maybe 5 oz.) and it was a little much, so I added a little more heavy cream. I also omitted the nutmeg. Can't wait to make it again!

I didn't like this much. All I can taste is the eggplant and I even added more salt and teriyaki sauce.

Five Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
This is a really tasty dip. I modified a little though b/c I wanted to be able to taste the dip and not just HOT. The only change I made was to add another 16 oz. can of garbanzo beans and just used a tsp. of cayenne pepper and black pepper. Cuts the fire in half. Great as a dip for fresh veggies!
