About this Cook
I try to cook healthy, most of the time. I've been trying to cook with whole grains, no extra sugar, and soy a lot more. I finally got my bigger kitchen were I can actually cook a meal and not worry about space.
My favorite things to cook
Anything in my new convection/mircowave oven. I love it! or in my Kitchen Aid Mixer. I finally got one this christmas!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving Dinner. Low salt and No added Sugar. My mom's cooking is awsome!
My cooking triumphs
Baking no sugar items and it comes out tasting great. Also cooking much more healtier foods
My cooking tragedies
Salmon in my old oven. This was before I knew the oven was bad. It burnt it so quick, and set the smoke alarms off. :(

Baked Sweet Potatoes
I made this for thanksgiving, and it was hit! I coated the potatoes with oil and spices by shaking them up in a plastic bag first. Then put them in the oven. They turned out great. Everyone loved them, even those who wanted the super sweet version loved them. Will make again.

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling
I've made this but omited the taco seasoning packet, and use a can of Rotel tomatos instead. Then just cook until it thickens. Low sodium and fat, but full flavor.
