We are not vegetarians. We like this recipe although I admit I made adjustments. It is a great recipe to adjust to your liking and family size.

French Dip Sandwiches

Awesome beef for french dip, but the broth was WAY too fatty. If you put it in the fridge and then skim off the fat it was pretty good.

Duck Legs in Green Curry

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
We loved this! I used leftover duck so it was already cooked. I substituted lime juice for the kaffir lime" and did not add hot peppers. Also I used curry powder. I also added a bunch of veggies. This is a GREAT flavor for duck! The second time I made it I did it in a crock pot and I think it came out even better!

Loved it. I used a bit less butter than called for. It is surprisingly tasty for such a simple recipe.

One Bowl Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2011
When they first come out of the oven, they are too gooey to cut or eat. Wait a few hours before cutting them. Otherwise - these are perfect. Mine didn't stick to pan at all.

So good and uses a lot of squash. I served with a fried egg and toppings (avo, tomato, salsa, sour cream). I will make this again.

Stuffed Acorn Squash II

make it your own! so versatile - just use what you've got. I grow patty pan and zucchini in my garden. I use brown rice, ground beef, onion, veggies (cut up squash that you cut out), pasta sauce and top with cheese. Perfect!

Always impresses everyone. This is our all-occasion favorite! Tip: Leave it in the pan. Don't try to put it free standing on a cake platform.

Hawaiian Tarts

Reviewed: May 26, 2010
Easy and yummmm! I used normal size muffin pan and it worked just fine. Shape dough like a shallow cup inside the muffin well and put filling inside. No problem removing from pan - I sprayed with cooking oil spray before I put the dough in.

Not impressed with flavor. Also, too many potatoes. But... you can easily modify spices and ingredient ratios to your taste.
