Cherry Crunch

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
I made this with my homemade cherry pie filling, made with cherries from my cherry tree, and it was excellent! I didn't have any oats so I improvised, omitting the cinnamon and using apple cinnamon oatmeal. Got rave reviews from my dh and kiddo's!!

Slow Cooker Venison Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
Very good! Mine did not turn out dry at all. I stuck it in a small roaster pan and stuck in the oven at 350 for 1.5 hours. Then took meat out and made the sauce into a thick gravy on the stove with cornstarch. Add homemade rolls and potatoes...YUMMY!!! Very good the next day on a sandwich.

Venison Tenderloin Bites

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
These were so yummy. My picky kids asked for 2nds and 3rds. There was nothing left on the plate! Fork tender...melted in or mouth. Beware if you have any extra breading on the pan or meat, it will burn.

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
Amazing! It did take longer to cook than in the directions. I cooked an additional 10 minutes and it still sunk in the middle when taken out of the oven...I liked a little of the "gooey" in the middle though.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
This was very good. I think it tastes better left over. I didn't add the butter to the potatoes to cut out some of the fat and didn't even miss it!

Italian Confetti Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
This was good when I made some alterations to it. It was very bland as is. I added about 2 tbsp. ranch dressing to give it some flavor. I also think it would be good with some cheese in it.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: May 10, 2006
I have 10 kids and they all liked this recipe! I did make a few additions. I rubbed it with olive oil and I put lemon pepper, garlic salt, paprika, and onion powder on my chicken and poured a small amount of Red Wine in the bottom of the crock pot. Would have been good with a white wine too. It smelled so good while cooking and tasted great. I only cooked it for approx. 6 hours otherwise it would have been too dry!

My Veggie Thing

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
I think this has the potential to be good but it was way too salty for us. I would recommend cooking the broccoli till almost done and then doing the recipe. By the time my broccoli was cooked everything else was soggy and overcooked.

Maple Salmon

I have 10 kids ages 3-16 and all but one loved this recipe, the other one doesn't like fish. I followed the recipe except having to quadruple it and it turned out awesome! I did marinate for almost 2 hours. I will definetely make it again!

Awesome Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
I have 9 kids, ages 2-16, and they ALL loved this. I did 1/2 the amount of onion and used cream of mushroom soup. I put all the cheese in the mixture and non on top. I also cooked the broccoli, onion, and corn(I used frozen) in the microwave so they wouldn't be crunchy then baked about 1 hour.
