Red Pepper and Corn Relish

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2006
This was awesome! It went great with our hamburger dinner. I think it's better than Red Hot and Blue (restaurant in the SE part of the state). I roasted the peppers in the oven and have to say, they tasted just as good as the roasted red peppers you'd buy at the grocery store.

Slow Cooker Ginger Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2006
This was very boring. With the exception of the pork, it was quite bland. The seasoning was perfect for the pork however, so I will remember that. But, as for the rest of the recipe... I think I'll scratch it.

Chocolate Pecan Pie IV

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2004
This is the best chocolate pecan pie around. My family members ate it all up. The unsweetend chocolate is a great touch.

Raspberry Trifle

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2006
My family loves trifles. This one is by far their favorite. I shaved chocolate between the layers just as other reviewers had suggested. I also used frozen raspberries and blackberries. Will continue to make until the compliments stop... and I don't think that will be happening.

Tarragon Rice Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2006
I really liked it, but the rest of my family didn't care for it as much. Their definitely not picky eaters by any means, but I think I might use a little less of the oil and vinegar mixture next time. After eating it, I'm thinking rosemary might be another good herb to try with it. I will make it again.

Teri's Dinner in a Pumpkin

Absolutely the BEST Dinner in a Pumpkin I've ever eaten! I followed it to a tee, except for using ground turkey in place of beef. This will be a now be a traditional Halloween meal for our family.

Double Chocolate Mocha Trifle

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
We don't drink coffee, but I still liked the idea of a mocha "flavored" dessert. So, I used Postum. It worked just fine and tasted exactly like I wanted it to. I also added mini marshmallows and extra crushed Heath bar to the pudding mixture. It was a huge hit!

Cherry Nut Delight

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2006
This is definitely a keeper. I doubled the cream cheese mixture so the filling would be thicker. They taste like cheesecake. I might try another topping next time as well, but then again, I might not. I love cherries on cheesecake... so why change?

Hot Cocoa Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2004
Before trying this mix, I was a religious Swiss Miss drinker. This mix has beaten the Swiss Miss without question. It is the best hot chocolate you'll ever drink. It is so creamy and delicious that you'll keep wanting more.

Mackie's Cream Cheese Mints

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
They really are good mints. I would just put in a little less of the extracts... especially the mint. It was a little strong for my taste.

This was fantastic and SO EASY! I added some red peppers that I roasted along with a little chopped onion, bacon, parsley, and my favorite poultry seasoning just to give it a little pizzaz. Everyone loved it. Will certainly make again.

Juiciest Hamburgers Ever

These are the absolute best hamburgers you'll ever eat, and they're so moist! They are even better if you butter the top bun and put mustard on the bottom. Then put them on the grill to toast them. They really are great!
