Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2015
It looks perfect. I took another reviewers idea and ran the cauliflower through my juicer and used the pulp. I more than doubled the recipe & baked it for almost 25 minutes. Flipped it out of the pan to cool and will top it at supper time! I tasted a small piece of the crust and it's delicious!!

Just made this. It's hard not to eat it all right now!! I added extra garlic and probably a teaspoon of sesame oil! Great and easy way to make humus!

Gingerbread Cookie Frosting

Followed recipe, the portions are not even close. Tried to get it the right consistency, I didn't have all day to fiddle fart around to get the consistency right.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2014
This is quite yummy! Following some other reviews, I put some salt and pepper and garlic powder on the chicken previous to cooking it & added a bit more garlic powder to the batter & it turned out well. I also sautéed onions, bell peppers & carrots and added them to the sauce, along with half the pineapple. I served this with rice. My kids loved it too!

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2014
So delicious! This is the second time I made this. The only change I made was using 1 cup of broth instead of 2. I like my soups thick! Next time, I'll use a few different types of mushrooms.

Molasses Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2014
These cookies are delicious! I made a few changes only to make them healthier for our family. I used coconut oil instead of margarine and coconut palm sugar instead of white sugar (for the dough) and 1tsp of baking soda (2 seemed like a lot) and 1tsp of salt (to make up for lack of salt in coconut oil). I then only refrigerated for 30 minutes because coconut oil gets hard when fully cooled. The dough was perfect. The only thing I would do next time is make them smaller. Grape-sized ball rather than walnut.

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
Followed the directions. Chicken is very tasty. I used a wire rack like someone suggested. Next time, I'll roll the chicken in flour, then egg wash before the crumbs so, it sticks better.

Followed it and they turned out well. Kids really love them. I think I'll use coconut oil instead of butter next time for more coconutty flavour.

Delicious Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2013
Usually, I use peanut butter rather than shortening or butter to make the cookies extra peanut buttery. This time, I did the same but I was using all natural peanut butter and the dough was too crumbly to use so, I added two more eggs, 3 more tablespoons of milk & 1/8 cup olive oil. The cookies are okay. I think I'll go back to my old recipe ...
