Chocolate Chip Cookies V

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2013
Best Cookies! My cookies were not flat or crispy like other reviews, perfect, soft, moist, chewy!!! I've made the Award Winning Chocolate chip recipe for at least 3 years...this one is better. My cookies were not "cake" like, just perfectly moist. I think the trick is following the recipe and adding the dry pudding mix into the flour and making "BIG" cookies. I was skeptical of using an ice cream scoop or heaping tablespoon but I think the size is important, maybe that's why people said theirs were crispy? The size of the cookies only allowed me to bake 6 - 9 at a time rather then the dozen I'm used to. I did not line my cookie sheets with foil or parchment paper like I normally do, I wanted to follow this recipe exact and see what results I got.... results = PERFECT!!! I just dropped these off for my girlfriend that just had a baby and before I got home she was calling me for the recipe! She had a household full of guests from all different states and they agreed, hands down, best cookies any of them have ever tasted!

Pressure Cooker Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2014
Great for a 30 min pressure cooker recipe but it needed more so .... I added a can of enchilada sauce (a secret weapon) cumin, chili powder, fresh jalapeño and red bell pepper, a small can of corn and half a can of black beans. I did not put the tomato mixture into the blender, I wanted it chunky. It came out delicious! Everyone really liked the addition of the cream. I also put in two large partially frozen chicken breasts, After the cooking process I removed them from the soup and shredded it.

Soft Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2013
The simplicity of this recipe and the deliciousness of the end results makes this: The best PB cookie ever. I always like to stick to the original recipe exactly on my first run around, but I did use 3/4c. PB as all other reviews suggested. This made 24 cookies for me and I baked them for 7 minutes! I'm writing this review 2 days later and they are fresh and moist as day one. I didn't have a good quality baking margarine on hand, but I did have a large tub of Country Crock, I was a little worried but the cookies came out fabulous! I'm about to make my next batch, I'm sticking to the recipe again but one day I'm very curious to try the Honey substitution.

Best Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2013
This is the best frosting I've ever had. I have used this every time I need to impress people AND IT WORKS :) I have made this for my hospital parties, my daughters pre-school parties, superbowl..-this frosting is a hit with all ages! Don't make this frosting if you don't want people hounding you for the recipe. Its not gritty, to sweet or greasy and it doesn't leave your mouth feeling "coated" like a lot of shortening based frostings. I use a very very similar recipe from this website http://tastykitchen.com/blog/2010/03/a-tasty-recipe-thats-the-best-frosting-ive-ever-had/

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2014
Perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. I baked one batch for 10 minutes and they were really "fudgey" so the next batch I did for 15 minutes and they were still soft and moist. They were both great, I'd bake them like this purposely everytime that way you get both of best worlds: moist and dense and the other soft and gooey.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2014
Great recipe! Has worked great with any firm, mild sweet flavor fish such as grouper, red snapper, orange roughy, or halibut. After making this over and over I too recommend using a tad less butter. I always pair this with Allrecipes: roasted vegetable orzo, but most of the time sub quinoa for orzo. My husband and very picky 4 yr old love this every time!

Hmm there was a tie between the family between this and 'soft PB cookie'. Either way they were irresistible !!! And gone in one hour, I had to make another batch!

My husband loved it. Peeling that many garlic cloves got annoying. It was a good dinner but I was hoping for fantastic.

Carrots in Dill Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2014
So simple I didn't think it would make a difference. It was great! I'll always make my carrots this way. I sliced mine on a mandolin for even slices and quicker cooking. I did as other review suggested and added a pinch fresh dill.

Ghirardelli® Brownie Pecan Parfait

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2014
Perfect! I made Betty Crocker box mix brownies but followed the parfait recipe and I'm so glad I did. My husband and daughter couldn't get enough. The parfait creme is totally worth the trouble, I don't think I'll ever use regular ol' whip cream on anything ever again. I left out the Carmel sauce because I figured that would be to rich and sweet. Make these ahead of time and put them in a pretty glass for presentation and refrigerate. We actually liked it better the next day!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

I doubled this, easy, delicious and great for Party's. I made this for my husbands birthday party and everyone loved it. It was self serve right out of the crockpot onto hearty hamburger buns and offered Blue Cheese salad dressing, or coleslaw as toppings.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2013
Wonderful, simple, Delicious! I dont know what kind of beef "stew" meat is but I bought Beef Chuck and cut it myself, I added a diced tomato, corn kernels from a left over corn on the cob and 1 beef bouillon cube. I was skeptical of not browning the meat first but this is the PERFECT 1 step dish. Simply Delicious!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2013
Perfect! I've been making these for years! EVERYONE wants this recipe! This is great with all different flavors of instant pudding mix, add your favorite flavor! It keeps the cookies soooo soft! To the reviews that don't understand - No you don't cook the pudding first, just open the package and dump the dry pudding mix in. I wish I could take credit for thinking of adding dry pudding mix into cookie dough! I do it with all my recipes now, butterscotch flavor in oatmeal cookies is delicious too!

Wine Soaked Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2013
Don't let the cook time scare you, I made this as a last minute thing, my husband didn't want chicken and he usually over cooks the steaks HAHA so I knew we needed a topping! Because I didn't have the time to reduce the liquid I only added 14.5 oz of my favorite Red wine- so equal parts beef broth and red wine- I brought the mixture to a rolling boil for 15 minutes and then a slow simmered for another 15 minutes. Total cook time after the liquid was added was only 30 minutes...perfection! I WILL ABSOLUTELY be making this again! Next time, when there's more time, I will do the full bottle of wine and full 1 1/2 hours cook time.
