Basic Cream Cheese Frosting
This frosting is AMAZING! Exactly everything I hoped it would be and more. I used it to make an 8" two-layer Oreo themed cake, and it was just enough to frost the whole cake. It came together quickly, and I just added the sugar until I got the desired consistency and taste. It was somewhere between 3-4 cups. I also imagine the frosting would go really well with a cake involving berries, like strawberries or raspberries. The people who ate this cake said the frosting should go into my recipe box.

Easy Oatmeal Muffins
I love the simplicity of this recipe. It is a great base to be creative with flavors and additions. I kept everything as is except for adding blueberries and vanilla. The taste and texture are perfect. I'll probably always add additions, but I'm sure they'd be good plain with jam or butter. It's good to know the recipe works with applesauce instead of oil to make them even healthier!

Butter Flaky Pie Crust
Perfect pie crust! I only had butter in the house and don't like the idea of hydrogenated oils in shortening, so this recipe seemed ideal. With a food processor it took only a few minutes to mix into the perfect ball of dough. Was short on time so I could only refrigerate less than an hour, and still came out great. The end result was flaky, melt-in-your-mouth, with a rich butter flavor. I used to use ready made dough, but they are pricier and don't taste as good. I only had salted butter available, which ended up being fine. I also made this as a double recipe with no problem. Try this, and you won't be disappointed!
