About this Cook
I enjoy a lot of things! Cooking (obviously), excercising, and computers.
My favorite things to cook
I really enjoy cooking anything. However, I really like to work with chicken breasts and a good steak.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We like to cook healthy and use fresh ingredients. Fresh is always the best way to go!
My cooking triumphs
Perfecting crepes! Yummy
My cooking tragedies
I still shy away from cooking whole chicken and turkey. I consider this a tragedy because they are so great and my mother and grandmother are brilliant when it comes to that kind of thing.

Best Brownies
These were excellent and very much in between cake and fudge. We left the icing off because it would be too sweet for our family. I also listened to the other reviews and did not use a mix-master, instead we used a wisk being very careful to not over beat. I think this is the key!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
Waaaaay to much baking powder. They tasted of baking powder strongly. The kids liked them but hubby and I couldn't eat more than one. I would max it at 2 tsp next time and they would be great.

Soft Sandwich Buns
Amazing! I agree that they have too much sugar to use consistently, but I think I'll try and cut it down next time. I'm also going to try them whole wheat. But as a treat they were fantastic.
