Easy Bunny Cake

Reviewed: May 4, 2014
I've been making this cake over 20 years. You can use any cake and or frosting you want. It was always a tradition for me to make this for our Easter get togethers as a kid. Always used string licorice for the whiskers which are hard to find. I always secretly laughed at it as teenager since the shape is just like the playboy bunny.

Stuffed Jalapenos III

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2004
Oh, man this was great! Even my husband, who is not fond of bacon or cream cheese liked these. I used regular cream cheese, instead of whipped. This is not something to make to far before a party because, you would eat them all yourself! Thanks for the great recipe!

Very good. I doubled the ketchup and only marinated it for 4 hours and it was still good. I can't wait to try again and marinate with the proper time. Thanks for the recipe!

Spinach Enchiladas Verde

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
This was surprisingly good. I really enjoyed it. I added 1/2 cup more sour cream, green salsa mixture and put about 1/4 cup green salsa on the top with green onions. I only added the extra because I had to use two pans and it looked like they were going to be a little dry. I had spinach left over so next time I will be sure to add more spinach. I did slightly fry the corn tortillas so they wouldn’t break. I think some garlic, onion chicken would work well with recipe if your a meatatarian. Thanks for the recipe. Glad I tried it!

Texas Sheet Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
This recipe My Mom has used for years and is always requested when she goes to family and friend gatherings. The only difference is she adds 6 T Milk and only 1/2 cup of nuts. This is a wonderful recipe and will be always remembered as "My Mom's Texas Sheet Cake" by me. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Macadamia Nut Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2011
Very Yummy. I wouldn't recommend freezing the dough, the cookies lose some of the yummy taste. I also, rolled the cookie balls in powdered sugar to make the cookies a little more puffier.

Cheater Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
The first time I did not use biscuits, but used a name brand pie crust on the bottom and criss crossed one on top. This I gave a five. The second time I used biscuits as directed, and gave it four stars. I think if I used the bigger biscuits I probably would of gave it a five. Also, both times I just used leftover Chicken rather than cans.

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

While cooking it smells like old fashion stuffing. Serve over rice or noodles with some of the extra sauce from the crock pot over it. Next time, I will try to cook with fresh green Beans. Thank you for the recipe.

Chicken Chimichangas

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
Both my husband and I liked the recipe, but my daughter didn't care for it. The rice I had to add more broth to and a added a 10 oz can of red chili sauce instead of enchilada sauce. It is a time consuming recipe so be prepared. Thanks for the great recipe!

Slow Cook Thai Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
I just made this tonight! Yum it was good! I was a little put off by the Peanut Butter and the fact that I have never had Thai food, but it was good. I did increase the Chicken broth to 1 cup, but left everything else the same except for the end with cilantro, green onions and peanuts. I love cilantro, but I'm glad I didn't add it to it. I think it would of changed the taste to much. I served over egg noodles (cooked with water and the rest of the chicken broth), stirfry veges with extra corn added. Thanks for the recipe!- I wont change the stars- but I tried this again and didn't like it at all. I didn't add a cup of chicken broth or serve over noodles so maybe that made the difference or just my taste has changed.
