Bar-B-Q

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
I really enjoyed this recipe. The ingredients seemed a little weird, but well worth it. I did use a pkg of dried onion soup instead of the French onion soup as suggested and because that is what I had and reduced the brown sugar to 1/3 cup. Thanks for the recipe!

Million Dollar Fudge

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
Brought it to work and it was gone in a couple of hours. The ingredients with the sugar, evap milk, butter tasted just like sweetened condensed milk. The fudge reminded me of frosting. It was pretty good, but I don't think it is my all time favorite recipe of fudge, but pretty close:) Thanks for the recipe!

Four stars for kid related. It's a fun, good for kids things to make. A good way to be creative for the kids. As for adults, I would only give it 3 stars.

Broccoli Cheese Bake

I cut the recipe in half, it would of been way to much for a family of 6. I don't like swiss cheese so I used a mixture of cheddar and M.J. cheese.

Chile Relleno Casserole

I used what I had- 2 lg cans chopped green peppers, and MJ cheese. Followed the recipe and it turned out great. Served with Green Salsa for the extra kick. I made Camp Cornbread and served with stuffed jalapenos. It was a very nice meal. Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
I liked it, although it was a little bland. My husband wasn't thrilled with it. My daughter's boyfriend said it was fantastic. And there was none left. I followed the recipe exactly. Don't you think adding sour cream and cream of chicken soup makes it a whole other recipe as suggested? I can see where you can play with it, Nacho cheese soup, jalapenos, chopped green chilis extra cheese on top, etc. Thanks for the recipe!

Nacho Chicken Casserole

I doubled the recipe and very glad that I did because there was none left. Half a jalapeno was just right for the little ones, could of been more for the bigger ones:) Thanks for the recipe, it was different and yet still yummy!

Slow Cooker Corn Chowder

I liked this recipe. I took the advice of others and added a can of cream corn and cornstarch. I added 5 cups of water, next time I might cut it down to 3 or 4. Served with campground cornbread.

Very good and yummy. I've done this for years without adding the sugar, but loved the sugar added. Also, add a can of green chilis for an extra kick!

Easy Tuna Casserole

I made this recipe with a macaroni and cheese recipe with cheese soup. I ended up mixing them together and liked them much better together. So my only suggestion would be to add cheese soup and colby cheese. I liked the recipe by itself. I couldn't find the fried onions, though. Thanks for the recipe!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
This was very good and satisfying. I took the advice of others and used another can of Chicken Broth instead of water and added 3 frozen chicken breasts which shredded very nicely. I also, used pre-made tortilla chips. The enchilada sauce I used did say hot so it was bit to spicy for my little one, but delicious for the rest of us. Thanks for the Recipe!

The texture was great. The dough was okay. The cookies tasted not that great. Almond extract is something I will never add to a cookie again.

I made this and thought it was good. But, It seemed like the stuffing overpowered it. I'm not sure if I would make it again.
