Very Good. I did half the peper as suggested. I served with flavored noodles. Made a second time. Didn't like at all.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
I made with only 3 very large breast halves. Served over flavored box with cheese Brocolli! Yum! Next I will try only 1/2 a pkg of salad mix. A bit salty.

Cheater Pot Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
The first time I did not use biscuits, but used a name brand pie crust on the bottom and criss crossed one on top. This I gave a five. The second time I used biscuits as directed, and gave it four stars. I think if I used the bigger biscuits I probably would of gave it a five. Also, both times I just used leftover Chicken rather than cans.

Chicken Chimichangas

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
Both my husband and I liked the recipe, but my daughter didn't care for it. The rice I had to add more broth to and a added a 10 oz can of red chili sauce instead of enchilada sauce. It is a time consuming recipe so be prepared. Thanks for the great recipe!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
Easy recipe. It looked gross, but tasted good. Serve over egg noodles and mix with corn. Second time, I made it I added 1 cream of mushroom plus half a package of lipton soup as suggested. Both ways it was good. Don't forget to add the cream cheese.

Slow Cook Thai Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
I just made this tonight! Yum it was good! I was a little put off by the Peanut Butter and the fact that I have never had Thai food, but it was good. I did increase the Chicken broth to 1 cup, but left everything else the same except for the end with cilantro, green onions and peanuts. I love cilantro, but I'm glad I didn't add it to it. I think it would of changed the taste to much. I served over egg noodles (cooked with water and the rest of the chicken broth), stirfry veges with extra corn added. Thanks for the recipe!- I wont change the stars- but I tried this again and didn't like it at all. I didn't add a cup of chicken broth or serve over noodles so maybe that made the difference or just my taste has changed.

Braciola I

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
This was very good. My husband really liked it. I did make a few minor changes. They are easy so hopefully not to annoying. First, I browned the meat first before rolling it up. It was easier. Second, instead of string I used metal Kabob sticks with a curve at the end. Last, I put the rolled meat in a small cake pan, poured the spaghetti sauce over it and put in the oven at 400 degrees for an hour. Next, time the last 1/2 hour I might add a pkg. of pre-sliced mushrooms. On my all time favorite list. Thanks!

Ribboned Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
I HATE this cake! I couldn't stop eating it and probably gained 2 pounds. Really, it was just wonderful. I frosted it with Sour Cream chocolate frosting, but had to to take some frosting off because it was a bit to rich. Be sure to keep this cake in the fridge and it tastes better the day after you bake it (and the next day...). Thanks for the Recipe!

Barbecue Beef Cups

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
This was good and fun. I used the bigger biscuits and used a 6 count muffin pan. Next time, I think I might do Italian (Spagetti sauce, hamburger, and Mozarella cheese). On my all time favorite list.

Bread Machine Calzone

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
I'm giving this 5 stars because it has so much potential. And I'm putting it on my All time favorite list. I used a pkg of Quick rise yeast and used my Kitchen aid mixer and let the dough rise for 30 to 45 minutes. I sprinkled the top with garlic salt over butter. It would be better with other stuff and maybe with cheese on top.

Chocolate PHILADELPHIA® Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
5 stars on taste! 5 stars on easy to make! 1 star on fudge. It's not what I consider fudge. It tastes like a container of chocolate frosting, mixed with cream cheese and nuts. I love chocolate frosting, but it's not what I would consider fudge.

Very Easy Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
I used a frozen container of sweetened strawberries (it's the wrong time for fresh-and I didn't read that the frozen ones were sweetened), boy was the salad sweet, but very good. Next time, I might use the sweetened strawberries and just use canned peaches. I also, didn't add the bananas I don't like them browning and the salad lasts longer without them.

Mexican Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
Very good and fun. Be sure to brown properly. In the Deep Fryer, I fried each one by one on the metal spatula with the seam down. It kept them together better. Also, after frying gently shake the egg roll vertically to drain any excess fat/oil. I did not use the whole package of wraps for this recipe- The last 4 wraps I filled 1 T with my favorite strawberry jelly (in a bucket jelly), fried, drained and topped with powdered sugar. Yum!

Slow Cooker Barbeque

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
All time favorite! This is a simple, great recipe. The only thing I did differently was add half the barbeque sauce while cooking and used 1/4 cup of onions which I put under the roast and added 2-3 garlic cloves. Drained the liquid when ready to shred. I then added the other half of the barbeque sauce and added the liquid to taste. Sometimes, half, sometimes it all back. Also, remember that leftovers need more liquid for better taste.

I used half red and half green peppers. Also, added 1/2 a yellow and zucchini squash. Boy, was it pretty! It looked like something at gourmet restaurant and tasted good, too. Thanks for the great recipe!

Cola Pot Roast II

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
I cooked this in the Crockpot. If I do it again I will double the spices and be sure not cook less than 10 hrs. I was going to give it four stars, but we had this a few days ago and nobody wants the leftovers.

Lemon Pudding Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2007
These Cookies are very easy and tasty. I put sugar on them after they cooled, which was rather quick. Also, I only got 12 cookies out of the recipe. Next, time keeping on the easy side, I would squeeze from my plastic lemon a small amount of lemon juice. If they were harder to make I would only give them a 4. But, because they are so easy, I'm giving them a five! This recipe would be great for toddlers to help you at home or at a daycare.
