Kerri's Holiday Punch

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2014
I made this based on reviews. It was as everyone said - perfect, everyone loved it and I have passed the recipe along. I followed suggestions using pink lemonade and cranberry lemon-lime soda (3L). I froze the sliced lemons and oranges on a cookie sheet, and added frozen cranberries. I served ice on the side so it would not water the punch down. Made enough for 2 batches, and luckily I did not have as many people as I thought or would have run out. Will be sure to have enough for more next time. It goes down nice and smooth, not too sweet like some other punches. Perfect punch for all occassions, this will be my go-to punch from now on.

Cannoli Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2014
Awesome sweet dip! However, no need to double unless you have 100 guests! (Voice of experience, have LOTS left over! Not good for the New Years resolution of eating better!!) I did add 1/2 tsp of almond extract just because I like it, but tasted before that and my rating is based on how it was written.Fabulous, guests loved it!

Wheat Germ Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: May 22, 2011
These are the best. I use regular WW flour, add a bit of white flour just to thicken. I use lemon juice/milk instead of buttermilk. I have added milled flax seed, and a bit of demerara sugar as well. Then when I cook them I sprinkle on lots of fruit - either frozen, fresh or dried or a mix. For two people I half the recipe. These are such a hit and so much more filling and better for you than regular pancakes! Thanks for a great recipe!

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
WOW! I'm not a real steak person, but my BF has been cooking and loving steak for years. I LOVED it, and he said it was the best steak he had ever had! I followed pretty closely, used low salt soy sauce, fresh basil, did not have any parsley, used crushed garlic only. Marinated 24+ hours, grilled, FANTASTIC! Thanks!

It was very good, but not really cobbler. A bit too sweet.

Rhubarb Pudding Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
WOW! I only had 2 cups of rhubarb, but had some blueberries, so threw in 1 cup of those. Cut the final sugar to 3/4 cup since the blueberries were very sweet. It was FANTASTIC! Just finished the first serving and want more! What a great recipe, can see trying it with other fruit! The cake is great with the crunchy top. Inside not quite 'pudding' as a bit runny, but certainly did not take away any from the flavor or presentation. Would not change a thing next time! Just love it!! Thanks for a great recipe!

Bumbleberry Pie II

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2004
Ok, so I used this recipe and comments as a "guide!" I used frozen mixed berries, rhubarb, an apple (total fruit about 6 cups) and Pillsbury pie crusts. I partially defrosted and drained the fruit. Used one cup of sugar, 1/3 cup flour and about 1 1/2 tablespoons of tapioca. I made one pie and it was fabulous! I will make this again! Everyone raved about it!

excellent, a real keeper! Made them with no nuts, lots of friends do not like nuts, but they were easy and delicious! Will definitely make these again!

Rhubarb Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2004
Very moist, but not very rhubarb-y. And I increased the rhubarb to 2 cups, cut small. Will not make again.
