Jalapeno Popper Spread

This tastes exactly like poppers. I do think the secret is to serve it with Triscuits. It's not as good with other crackers.

Peach-Basil Sangria

I took this to a sangria contest as well and won hands down. I like to make people guess what is in it....people are shocked that it is basil! You can also cook chicken in this....when it reduces down it's delicious! This soooo amazingly good. The amount of sugar could be cut in half.

Honey Bourbon Fire Sauce

This was ok. Too much mexican flavor to use for bbq. I toned that down with dried chipolte flakes. The sweet/hot thing was nice...sweet at first with a spicy finish.

Honey Fruit Salad

This is very good! I only had 1/2 of the blueberries so I added kiwis. I only used 3/4 of the mixture though as it made a lot! I also added 2 tsp of dried mint...everyone liked the touch!

Pasta Pomodoro

This was sooo yummy! I cooked the pasta only 4 minutes since it was angel hair. I scaled back the amount of pasta to 12 oz and it was perfect!

This was soooo excellent....as is! I did have to cook it for 22 minutes as our halibut was think. I too used the leftover liquid as a dipping sauce.

Round Steak and Gravy II

I have made this for years...just in the crockpot, mix the soups and pour over the meat in the morning and cook on low 6-8 hours. It makes it's own gravy. EASY!!!

Balsamic Roasted Red Potatoes

Great way to make red potatoes. I made this on the grill in a foil packet. I did not sautee in the pan. I poured the balsamic over the potatoes and grilled between 350 & 400 for 40 minutes. I put them on the grill b4 everything else. Every thought they were great!

Grilled Salmon I

This was great!! I followed the suggestion of grilling for 7 minutes with the skin on the grill. I turned it over and the skin pulled right off! Excellent tip!!!
