Very tasty and extremely simple recipe. I did add brown sugar and cinnamon to the apples as well as dotted them with butter prior to adding the topping. Speaking of, the topping is substantial but I am a topping fiend so this works out for me. I did fail to peel the apples before I sliced them (Martha Stewart mandolin) and was concerned that the skin would wreck it all. The slices were thin enough that the skin made no noticeable difference, so next time I will skip the peeling. Also, next time I will increase the apples to 8. Outstanding recipe! Thanks for sharing KERI_B, I will be using this for years to come.

60-Minute Mini Breads

Low Carb Cauliflower Leek Soup

This is a great soup. Everyone loved it. Just a couple of things I did differently from the recipe: used chicken bouillion, left the vegetables chopped - did not blend them. Oh, and I didn't add the cream to the whole pot, just to my bowl. This ended up cooking about 20 minutes longer than the recipe calls for but the vegetables didn't turn out mushy. It's a favorite that will be made repeatedly. Thanks for sharing.

Peanut Butter Cocoa No-Bake Cookies

VERY tasty and so easy to make. I could not find my cocoa so the cocoa ended up being omitted. I will definitely make again but next time I believe I will use about one cup of sugar. The two cups were a bit much.

Cheese Straws

I really wanted to love these but the end product wasn't what I expected. They didn't hold their shape. The straws were definitely cheesy but the flavor all in all was very bland. I don't see myself making these again.

Apple Crisp II

This is an awesome recipe! I used brown sugar instead of white, 1/4 cup of water, and butter on the apples. The crisp is excellent and is my favorite part so I doubled it. EVERYONE loved it...will definitely make again.
