I have been in the kitchen since the age of 9yrs old, being the oldest of 5 siblings, my dad who taught me said "that I had to learn to help feed the family and above all it's my Puerto Rican heritage that I learn to defend for myself". I have never looked back, now my 2 daughters where taught the same, my oldest is on her to becoming a Pastry Chef and my 15 yr old will be attending her 1st culinary camp this summer 2013, very proud of them both.
