Easy Cream Cheese Danish

Yummy and easy. I used almond extract in the filling and not vanilla. I also did not use the glaze as they were sweet enough without it. Already getting requests to make these again!

OK somehow I didn't even have 1/2 cup of cocoa powder so I made up the difference with some instant flavored coffee mix. YUM. Didn't seem to set up despite my increasing the cornstarch to 4 tablespoons so I put it in the freezer overnight. My 12 year old stated, "I could eat this for 3 days straight!"

Bar Cookies from Cake Mix

I started to make this and then realized I didn't have enough chocolate chips! I added some almond extract and baked with 2/3 cup water as suggested. These were AWESOME.

Apple Pinwheels

OK first of all - yum! These are really good. Second- trying to keep the dough together to roll it and then cutting it in slices is quite a chore. After one tube I decided I would just make the crescent rolls as God intended and fill them with the apples. Worked out just fine and was WAY easier. If you do chose to follow the recipe, don't worry about how messy they are after you roll and slice - once they are baked it all comes together as it should.
