Sausage Pasta

Reviewed: May 4, 2014
I will give this recipe a 4 star, mainly because I am so sick and can hardly taste anything. I used fresh spinach, marjoram instead of basil, mild italian sausage, red onion. I did not add all the chick stock. It was easy to make and I am sure it added a good smell to the home .

Simple Strawberry Syrup

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2014
very tasty.I think the ripeness really depends on the outcome of this syrup. I think if you catch some strawberries on sale about to expire at the store, that would really make for a good batch! thank you!

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2013
this was a good recipe. I will make again, but definatly add more meat and add more seasonings to spice it up a bit. It was just cheese cheese cheese. I mixed a tub of ricotta with the cottage cheese, adding an egg as a binder, also added parmesean cheese into the cheese mixture.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
this rating is totally my fault. I threw all ingredients in a crock pot thinking that it would simmer well, and it did not, I took one bite and threw the rest out. If I try again I am going to go by the recipe.

Cabbage and Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
It wasnt terrible, but as I was eating it I was trying to figure out what was so wonderful about it. I added fresh picked snow peas to give it a lil crunch and added flavor. Like I said it wasnt terrible and I ate 2 bowls of it, but I probably wont make again.

I thought it was pretty tasty, it could use a little something else like orange juice or another flavor of yogurt.

Cheeseburger Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
My family and I really enjoyed this. I crock potted my meal. I let the hamburger cook in the crock pot, then drained fat, added the soup and water, then the noodles the last 30 minutes ( I also used egg noodles) and then threw in some shredded cheese. Will make again on a busy day.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
Very tasty!! I added ranch, omitted the celery because my family does not like it, used red onions, added seasonings, and shredded cheese. Very good, like one review had stated, it was like a baked potato salad. YUMM! Will make again in the future.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
I really enjoyed this recipe for salmon. I am lucky because I get to go down the road and catch salmon and bring it home and clean it and cook it up. I live in Alaska. I am constantly looking for more recipes for salmon. I may add some mayo to this recipe when used in the future. I too used italian breadcrumbs instead of regular.

This was SUPER moist, so moist I thought it was not done cooking. I omitted the nuts and raisins because I like neither. I also used cinnamon applesauce and topped with powdered sugar. My 3 year old enjoyed helping in on this recipe!

Baked Bar-be-Que Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
Very nice. I added the garlic, some curry powder, parsley flakes, and salt and pepper to the initial baking. Removing the grease to add the BBQ sauce is a great idea!!! Thanks! Next time I will use teriyaki.
