I love my family! I am married & a stay at home Mom of three Wonderful children, 9,6 and 4 Sam, Katie & Lilly. I've spent the last 19 year being a professional Designer. I have for the last 6 years been able to do it on my own terms and not that of an employer! A Super good idea for any creative person! I am an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints(L.D.S. or Mormon's)and I love it!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! We are weekly cookie people, new and fun recipes get their turn and are voted in or out. We are in LOVE with Cooky Cookie's from this site right now! Other than that I really love about anything that takes you back to childhood!
My favorite family cooking traditions
LOVE My Mom's English toffee recipe. When she passed away with M.S. in 98 it became my job each Christmas. All the brothers and sister are reminded of our Mom and all the Christmas Seasons we spent together. I also adore having my extended family over for Sunday dinners, the same way we did when we were all younger.
My cooking triumphs
I have a Salsa recipe that EVERYONE asks for...I love it, and love to make it for family and friends. It makes me so happy to have a special dish that the whole clan loves.
My cooking tragedies
I can't make a good old fashion No Bake Cookie to set up to save my life~!

Mound Bars

Pizza Dough I
I use it for pizza every time ! (not great for other things!) I let the yeast and water sit for about 5 min.. Also I like to cook the dough for about 10 min before I top it! :) Happy dinner to you!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies
I am giving these a strong 5 but with *large adjustments* I made them 3 times to get what I thought was a perfect PB Cookie:I always use part butter part crisco(I like the texture)so.. 1 stick of BUTTER, 1/4 c.Crisco,I use 1 cup of Crunchy PB, 3/4 cups of chocholate chips, 3/4 cups of P.B. chips,I have to use 1/2 cup more flour, I use milk(don't go over the 1/4 c. or they wil get candy like & to soft) I do pop in a pinch of cinnmn. NO nuts..the crunchy pb works great,cook for 14 min. (I live in Oregon) GREAT COOKIE!!
