About this Cook
Being from the south, but having to cook for a very picky Yankee is challenging. Everything I use to cook involved cheese and much of it was fried... my bf is not a fan of cheese, and since he is in the army I have to try to keep the fried food to a minimum. To top this off I have to get creative to get him to eat the limited veggies he will consume. So, now I'm learning to cook all over again. I simply love AR, there are so many variations and I love that people post their suggested tweaks, it makes feeding a hungry soldier much easier!

Mushroom Stuffed Beef Rouladen
This does take some time to make, but it is worth it. 4 stars instead of 5 only because it didn't make nearly enough gravy, so I double the gravy the second time, and the second time I made it I used Marsala wine instead of red and it was MUCH better. The second time I also just used regular white mushrooms and didn't notice much difference in taste (and they were cheaper and easier to find) This makes an impressive looking meal and I would serve this to guests.

Isaac's Juicy Chicken
Maybe I did something wrong, but this did not turn out well at all. The flavors didn't seem to meld well and the breadcrumbs overpowered the chicken. I only ate 3 bites and gave up on it. Joe ate one thigh, and said it was "OK, but not a 'make again'"

Dennie's Fresh Lobster Salad
Eh, it was a bit bland. I tried a few different spices (garlic, onion powder, etc) before I added some Tony's Creole seasoning. That was the PERFECT addition.
