About this Cook
Mom of 3 kids, training to be a therapist. Love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. As far as I'm concerned the more ingrediants the better!
My favorite things to cook
Risotto, Pasta, Mexican, Indian
My cooking tragedies
A few years back I baked 2 perfect pumpkin pies to take to a Thanksgiving dinner at a friends house, I placed them on the floor of my passenger van between the kids covered by a cloth so they wouldn't tip enroute. I had to ran back into the house to get something and then we drove over to my friends house. when we got there imagine my dismay when I removed the cloths from the pies only to find a perfect foot print in each one. My daughter had dropped a toy and had got out of her seat to retreive it standing on the pies in the process!

Stephen's Chocolate Chip Cookies
I wasn't impressed with this recipe. I found the overall cookie flat and unappetising, it has way to much sugar and with the addition of the chocolate chips it was just to much.I found the cooking time off. I baked teaspoonfuls of dough for 14 minutes and it was still uncooked inside, I raised the tempreture by about 10-15 degrees, tried another batch and they were cooked but the kids each ate one and the rest are on a plate untouched. Thanks but will have to continue looking.

Cinnamon Rolls II
I made these by hand since my bread machine was broken. I warmed up the milk, water and butter in the pan and then added it to a bowl with the yeast where i let it stand for 10 minutes. I then added the flour, eggs and salt all at the same time, unlike other reviewers I didn't think there was too much liquid, I was able to turn the dough out and kneed with maybe 1/4 cup of flour just to keep my hands coated. i left in a cold oven over night and baked the next day for 18 minutes, they were wonderful and I have made them many times since, great each time. Thank you for the recipe.

Aloo Phujia
Although i liked the way it looked, I found this to be very bland even after doubling the spices, I guess i was expecting more of a kick. Very easy to make.
