BBQ Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2013
Loved em! This recipe makes oven baked ribs super simple, juicy and tender. I always worry about ribs drying out in the oven but not anymore! Thanks

Unbelievable Fish Batter

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
The consistency was great, light and fluffy batter. However the flavor did need some work. I would recommend seasoning your fish before battering as well as seasoning your batter since it comes out very overwhelmingly fishy tasting without any other flavor to compliment. Otherwise a good starting recipe. Also want to try this for onion rings :)

Garlic Alfredo Tilapia

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
This came out excellent! I was looking for an easy and quick way to bake some fresh tilapia I had on hand and already thawed. I used cajun seasoning and Rinaldi Alfredo Sauce (my favorite) since I had them on hand as well. The baking time is spot on and the sauce came out light and creamy. Not too rich. I definitely recommend going easy on the creole seasoning (or whichever one you use) since the sauce came out with a lot of flavor on its own. I served the tilapia with seasoned rice and fresh steamed veggies. Awesome and easy dinner my kids loved.

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
This is a great starter recipe to customize to your taste buds preferences. I recommend adding a little salt, garlic powder or onion powder since it, whichever you like. Also, I like the roll out method where you roll the mix out flat into a square shape, let it harden in the fridge for about a half hour and then cut into cubes. This makes shaping them into balls so much easier.

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
My man LOVES baked spaghetti. His favorite is from a small local restaurant so I was trying to mimic their version. This recipe is very comparable to theirs. Very flavorful and cheesy. He loved it :)

Chicken Parmigiana

I've been using this recipe for a while, well since I added it to my recipe box. Follow the recipe and you won't be disappointed. I sometimes add more/less cheese, depending on who I'm making it for. The family loves it!

Mexican Shrimp Cocktail

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
Perfect! I've been looking for a long time for this recipe. Others have been too bland, too ketchuppy (not a real word I know ;) ) or too wattery. But this one got it right. Thank you so much!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
Great recipe, delicious simple cookies! Such an easy recipe to follow and not time consuming at all. Be sure to blend ingredients thoroughly and take cookies out of the oven at 8 minutes unless you like them crispy. I prefer chewy. I already put this one in my recipe book because I Will be making them again soon! Thanks!

Cranberry Sauce I

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
This was such an easy recipe. I couldn't believe we've been eatin cranberry sauce out of a can this long when its this easy to make it fresh and delicious. I substituted half the sugar for brown sugar as suggested and could tell the difference it made. Came out delicious, will definitely become a staple for us on turkey day! Thank you! fyi: I was worried when I removed from the stove top as it was still runny, but it sets very quickly after pouring into a bowl.

Excellent Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2007
Great recipe. My suggestions are to scale it down to 4-6 servings the first time you make it. We made it for 6 and it was still quite a bit for us. We also used cheddar along with the processed cheese (for the processed cheese part it calls for), plus the cheddar it calls for. It balanced it out instead of giving it a too processed cheese taste or a too sharp cheddar taste. And the final thing was we used about a 1/2 cup more broccoli than it called for and we added halved baby carrots. Its the way it's made at this restaurant I love. It makes such a difference, soooo good! ;)
