I made this last night & my family gobbled it up & my boys had the leftovers for breakfast this morning. :) I didn't have bowties so I used the small seashell pasta.I'm not really sure how one "julienne's" ham so I just chopped mine into bite-sized pieces. I skipped all of the sauce making & instead, I used a can of undiluted cheese soup (I bet cheez-whiz would work, too, or melted velveeta). Added salt, pepper, garlic powder & stirred it all together, poured it into a baking pan, covered it with garlic bread crumbs & shredded cheddar.I was going to also add peas to it but I forgot so I just served them on the side. But this morning for breakfast, the boys stirred the leftover peas into the casserole, anyway. This is a keeper.

Jeremy's Philly Steak and Cheese Sandwich

This sandwich is to die for. Seriously. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the French baguette is so tough & hard to chew. I will find a different bread but other than that, try this sandwich!

Vegan Split Pea Soup II

I gave it 5 stars because it's so good. However, the color of it does not make people want to eat it. I had to coax them...but once they did taste it, they cleaned their bowlsl. :)

Easy Vegetable Pot Pie

One of my most-favorite vegetarian recipes. My fiance loves it, too, & he's a meat & potatoes kinda guy. This is one of a very few vegetarian dishes that he will eat with no complaints. It's so good!

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup

I'm giving this 4 stars (but wanted to give it 4.5). The only reason is that I used the amount of water stated in the recipe and my soup came out brothy & not think like the picture. I even used a bit more barley than called for. Otherwise, this soup is very very good & makes a huge amount--I've been eating it for lunch every day this week. I'm keeping this.

Hamburger Hash Browns

All the boys here ate this up. I made several changes, though. First, I sprayed the pan with cooking spray & put the hash browns in, seasoned with season salt & pepper. Then sprayed the top of the hash browns with more spray. For the ground beef, I used leftover meatloaf (I hate throwing food away) and instead of frozen veggies, I added a can of Ranch-style beans (with liquid). I also only topped it with cheese & no onions because I'm out. Anyway, all 5 boys devoured it.
