About this Cook
I love to entertain friends and family! Feeding folks just makes everyone feel good. Tailgate parties are a must during the football season and I spend a couple of months baking holiday gifts. I love being in the kitchen, it's very relaxing for me after a hectic day at work.
My favorite things to cook
It seems that whatever I'm cooking or baking at the time is my favorite. But my first love is baking. My friends love when I bake for them.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving is the holiday that most of my family can seem to get together. We all love to cook so what feasts we have!
My cooking triumphs
I make amazing lamb chops. Even people who claim they don't like lamb devour these tasty t-bones.
My cooking tragedies
I have tried and tried but can't seem to make a really good Italian pasta sauce. (Gravy). Its just okay for me.

Romantic Chicken with Artichokes and Mushrooms
I make this recipe often and love it! Its simple, easy and very tasty. I've served it w/pasta and over steamed spinach. Served with ceasar salad and crusty bread...thats all you need for perfection.

Scandinavian Almond Bars
I've been making these cookies for a long time and get asked for them by coworkers all the time. ( I'm the baker at work ) I dont make them very often because I love them too!! But they are easy and great with a cup of coffee or tea because they aren't to sweet. Thanks so much for posting so I didn't have to dig through old magazines for the recipe!
