Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
This was GREAT! I've been searching for an "oven-baked" chicken recipe that would not be dry...this was it! Chicken could not have turned out more perfect! My oven/thermometer took exactly 5 hours to reach 180 degrees (make sure you check close to the bone). Awesome chicken!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
LOVE this soup! It was so easy and really delicious! I made a few small tweaks just because I had a few different items on hand. Used rotisserie chicken (way better than canned), added small can of green chili's and used a can of tomatoes with green pepper/onions mixed in. I also took others advice and used a can of cream of chicken soup. Plus I added cumin, chili powder, and red pepper for some great flavor! Loved that I had all that I needed to make this easy, easy recipe. Try it...you won't be disappointed.

Banana Oatmeal Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
LOVE this recipe. I agree they are not like regular, hard cookies but they have so much flavor! My son is highly allergic to dairy so finding recipes that do not call for milk or butter is difficult. I skipped the nuts since he's not ready for those either and they were still great! I did add a touch of vanilla and dash of honey as well. This is definitely a keeper and nice to have other options for leftover bananas. Thanks!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2009
This recipe is FANTASTIC!! I followed exactly as written and it turned out great. My slow-cooker finished a 6.5lb roast in exactly 15 hours. I will definitely make again but will try with a tiny bit less salt. I wouldn't say it was "too salty" but I would like to see how it turns out with a little less. After shredding and putting back in slow cooker...it seemed to get taste even saltier. So I will try again with less. You HAVE TO try this recipe! So easy and so worth it! Husband and best friend LOVED it.

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
For me this recipe was just "ok"...sorry. Ingredients reminded me a lot of my simple, yet amazing Pot Roast, only with the tomato soup. The meat definitely fell apart but I found it to be very, very dry. It certainly wasn't bad...I just wanted it to be better. Probably won't try again.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
Very, very good recipe! I made exactly as written and it turned out wonderful! My husband doesn't like a lot of sauce on his pork so after shredding the pork I only added a small amount of the juice back into the meat. It really was amazing...can't wait to show my mom up with this one! Will definitely make again!

This recipe was FANTASTIC!! Cookies turned out perfect! Very simple to make...once you get the sifting done...but well worth the effort. Can't wait to share this one with my family. Husband can't stop eating them.
