This is so easy and delicious! I made it as written and it turned out wonderfully. I especially love how fast it was. I found the recipe, went to the store, and was eating the yummy chili all within 1 1/2 hrs. Thanks for the yummy recipe!

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
These are excellent! I followed the advice of others and added about 1/4 cup of flour to what the recipe called for. I also put the indented dough balls in the freezer for 10 minutes before baking. I wanted to fill them with frosting, so I left out the jam. I also rolled the balls of dough in finely chopped walnuts before making the indentions. After they cooled I filled them with a simple icing (cream 1/2 stick butter until smooth; add 2 cups powdered sugar; add milk to desired consistency). The result was amazing! They were easy to make and delicious to eat. Thanks for a great recipe!

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
This had a great flavor and was very easy! The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I thought it needed more sauce. Next time I will double the sauce and maybe add some parmesan cheese. Thanks for the recipe, Bob!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2007
I made these with margarine because I was out of butter, and they were the BEST cookies I've ever made! I tried them again with butter expecting the same results, but they were not as soft and chewy as before. I am making them again with margarine to send to some family members. This is a great recipe, thanks!

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2007
Yummy! I used Russet potatoes and split it into two dishes since it made such a huge amount. I "baked" them in the microwave for 25 minutes at 50% power. Fabulous!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2007
This was really good. I couldn't taste the teriyaki sauce, but I'm not sure I used the right thing (the sauce I used was really thin). The chicken was tender and juicy, and I liked the cheese and bacon on top. Will keep this recipe. Thanks!

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2007
This was excellent! I used fresh peaches and added some blueberries. I cut the crust with a star shaped cookie cutter. It turned out so well, and everyone loved it. Served it with Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream. I think I will try it with cherries next time. Thanks for the recipe! This one is a keeper.

Awesome Roast Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
I followed the recipe as written except that I added potatoes, carrots, and onion to the crock pot about 2 hours into cooking. I thought it was okay. I had to cook it almost 12 hours to get it to "fall apart," and then I was a little disappointed in the flavor (was bland to me). I think it needed something else, maybe even just salt. Overall, it was okay. I probably will make it again but add some more seasoning.
