About this Cook
I'm a young stay at home trying to improve my very VERY poor culinary skills! Living where I do in Morocco it's quite a struggle getting hold of ingredients so I'm somewhat limited in what I can cook.
My favorite things to cook
I like cooking Moroccan dishes as I've had a lot of practice and am getting quite good. I also love cooking pasta/spaghetti. Oh and I love to make desserts... However I've been living without an oven for quite some time so my baking skills are nada :/
My cooking triumphs
Moroccan tagines. I once made a lamb and fava bean tagine and oh my...It was so delicious. My husband loved it!
My cooking tragedies
Making sauces/creams....ye don't ask me to do that...

Best Brownies
They were okay but not the best brownie recipe I've found. I didn't make the frosting and thought that they needed more sugar. Also, after 25 minutes I found that my brownies were slightly over done. All ovens seem to be different but definitely keep an eye on them. Although the method was easy, I don't think I'll be trying these again.

MMMMM... Brownies
The brownie turned out nice however I didn't like the method. My chocolate seized when I added to the butter/sugar/water mixture. I continued with the recipe as normal and it didn't hinder the end result. I cooked for about 23 minutes. The top was slightly crispy and the inside was gooey. Tasted great but I think I'll use an easier recipe next time.

Chewy Granola Bars
Delish! And so easy to make! I melted the butter for 2 reasons...1)I read another reviewer did the same and 2) I didn't want to wait for my refrigerated butter to soften :/. I'm still waiting for them to cool completely but couldn't resist trying a piece now...yum yum yum. You can really taste the honey. Hubby loves them so 5 stars from us!
