Sweet Restaurant Slaw
I've been making this recipe for a couple of years. It is perfect as is, but as a diabetic I have often substitute about a 1/4 cup Splenda for the 1/2 cup sugar. This is often requested at family gatherings. Also, since cabbage tends to wilt over night, I've used the pre-shredded broccoli slaw and it's wonderful!!

Mexican Shepherd's Pie
My family loved this! The only changes I made was to omit the water completely, use a can of diced tomatoes with green chilies, put the cheese under the cornbread layer and instead of corn I used diced squash from the garden since we have squash coming out of ears. I thought this was wonderful and will be putting it into our rotation.

Alabama Fire Crackers
These are great as is. For a little something different I used Hidden Valley Ranch's Fiesta Ranch instead of the original and I used oyster crackers. The only thing I will do different next time is use about half the oil. Awesome snack with LOTS of flavor!! Thanks for sharing.
