I love to experiment with new ingredients and not afraid to cook with unfamiliar things.
I enjoy all methods of cooking i.e. fry, stew, bake but during the week, I prefer to cook meals using my slow cooker. I leave the more advanced stuff for the weekends when I don't have to manage a company's finance all day long. Some people find cooking tedious and tiring but I find it therapeutic. When I'm cooking, I'm so zone out. All I am focused on is the food...nothing else.
I have always wanted to be a professional chef following the steps of my father but many professional chef, my father included, has told me that once cooking is a profession, it's no longer a hobby. I regret not following my heart but I am content entertaining at home as much as I can. Maybe soon in the future, I could be a part time caterer but for now, an auditor and a part time home entertainer.
