Quiche Lorraine I

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
I used less milk and added some broccoli I had lying around, and it was great, probably would have been a little bland without it. I baked mine at about 400, still took about 35 minutes. Will make this again.

Strawberry Angels' Cake

Reviewed: May 26, 2006
I took out the cocoa, and added a little vanilla to my whipping cream instead. I also just put my strawberries, which I sliced, on top instead of folding them in to the whipping cream. I also added some blueberries for color on the outside of the cake. Looked and tasted great.

Creamy Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
I made this soup to start this year's Thanksgiving dinner, and it was a hit. I would definitely recommend adding the cinnamon, I sampled the soup before and after adding it and it added a subtle and delicious flavour. I loved this soup!

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
This recipe was a great way for me to use up the majority of the leftovers I had from enchiladas a few nights earlier. I didn't have any crushed tomatos on hand so I just used tomato soup instead and that worked just fine. Next time I make this soup I will probably omit the chicken, for some reason I enjoyed the spoonfulls without it better. Cheese, sour cream and broken tortilla chips on top made the soup just that much better. Good recipe, thanks.

Chocolate Zucchini Cake I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
I decided to make this cake because I had some milk go sour on me. So glad I used it instead of tossing it! Not overly rich or too chocolately, the spices give the cake a very nice flavour. The zucchini makes this cake super moist. This cake lasted a week and was just as moist on the 7th day as the 1st. I left out the nuts and mixed the chocolate chips in the batter. My sister in law deemed them the best part. Enjoy!

Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
I halved this recipe and was very happy with the results. I cubed the cream cheese very small, and would try spreading it on the bread next time as it was my favorite part. I only had 4 day old bread that was pretty hard and it still turned out great. Very yummy but it was hard to wait for so long for breakfast.

Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
Pretty good recipe, I just made a couple changes. I didn't put the onion in since I'm not a fan of raw onion and used regular yellow mustard instead of dry. I also used a little less vinegar and added some mayo to give it a more creamy color. Because I didn't need to process the onions I just made the dressing in a glass shaker bottle. It worked great!
