I'm suprized at the high rating of this dish. I thought it was alright but I won't make it again. The steak part wasn't bad, but the gravy was terrible. I would sugguest making a seperate brown gravy from the recipe and it will probably turn out better. I would rather spend the $3 for the encore meal..

Sauteed Apples

I made these as a side dish for dinner. These apples were perfect, everyone in my family loved them. I do think they need to have a lid on while cooking, mine didn't get too tender after 6 min. but as far as flavor I would have to say they're delicious! I didn't change a thing except for adding a tsp of vanilla, and I think they would be just as good if I didn't add it. I would love to try them on ice cream or in a pastry of some sort. These would also be a quick way to make an apple crisp. I will make these on a regular basis from now on.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

This chicken is not quite rotisserie chicken but it is still pretty amazing, the seasoning is spot on, I thought it would be too spicy with all the pepper but even for me (and I'm a wimp) it was perfect. I even forgot the onion and it was still perfect. I will be making my chickens this way everytime, if time permits me. I did a 7.5lb chicken and it cooked in 5.5 hrs. Thanks for the recipe!

Wow! This was delicious. I made the recipe pretty much as is, ovbiously I didn't actually measure my seasoning and olive oil amount but this was so good, I will be making this more often!

Chef John's Cottage Fries

Very much like french fries, I added lots of spices on mine, they would have been bland without them. Make sure to not slice too thin. Will make these more often now that I've tried them!

Molly's Mouthwatering Tzatziki Cucumber Sauce

very good, tastes pretty close to the resturants tzatziki sauce. I did what others did and didn't add the mayo but after tasting it, it really just tasted like sour cream, after adding the mayo the flavor was spot on..I wouldn't change a thing about this except for the serving size, I scaled it to 10 ( but I'm only feeding 4 people) and I added chives for some color. Excellent recipe, thanks!!

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

I was so tempted to add things to these potatoes, like cheese or garlic or chives. However I made them exactly as the recipe was written and I'm glad I did, these were so creamy and so delicious, I will be throwing out all my boxes of scalloped potatoes and making these from now on!!

Derby BLT Dip

I love BLT dip!! I've been making this for years and only things different are using mayo instead of miricle whip ( and I eat my actual BLT's with miricle whip) and using real bacon. I also don't add cheese but thats cause I don't eat cheese on my BLT's. When I was introduced to this the girl that brought this dip used toasted bread triangles, which was the best way to serve this dip but who wants to sit there and toast a whole loaf of bread, crackers is what I always serve it with.

Quick Chicken Piccata

I'm not sure if I did something wrong, I used a chardonney wine instead of a basic white. I didn't really like it but my dad did. I will make it again using chicken stock and maybe just a splash of wine next time and def only use a couple tsp of lemon juice.

Cinnamon Nut Coffee Cake

Very good very moist, the only things different I did was added the 1/2 C sour cream, and no nuts(cause I didn't have any) it didn't taste like I thought it would but it was still good. I also don't think you need to double the topping. I will make again and try it without the sour cream to see if it tastes more like coffee cake.

Edible Spiders

I didn't really make these to eat, I wanted something fun to do with kids. The picture looked so cute but mine didn't turn out anything like it. I guess you have to be somewhat a perfectionist. The kids had fun though and I guess thats all that matters!

Chocolate 'N' Oat Bars

These were pretty good as is. I would however add more flavors it's just chocolate and oats. Next time I'll try adding butterscotch chips or cherry bits or something.
