Croissant and Salmon Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
This was just alright, I think it just needs a sauce, maybe hollandaise?

Quick Poached Salmon with Dill Mustard Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2013
I was suprized at how much I like this, usually I like my salmon on the dryer side, but the texture wasn't smooshy like I thought it was going to be. The sauce was a nice addition of flavor to go with a fish that didn't have much flavor. My only change was using greek yogurt instead of regular, makes me wonder if it would have tasted even better..

Hoagie Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2013
This was pretty good, I had a large amount of salami and didn't know what to do with it all, I found this recipe and thought I would give it a shot, I'm glad I did! I followed the advice from others and added some balsamic vinegar and I added a couple tsp of olive oil. It tasted just like a hoagie!

Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts II

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
This recipe is a staple for holidays, we bring them everywhere usually with some sweet baby rays bbq sauce in tow. This year we didn't have any bbq sauce so we looked up this recipe, made this to a T and they came out fabulous! I will make them this way from now on, thanks for the recipe!

Fudge Puddles

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
These were pretty good. I still prefer the PB cup in the middle but these were simple. I used mini muffin cup liner and had no problem taking them out after they cooled. Before I put them in the oven I made a small indent with my finger in each one so when it came time to making the well it was alot easier.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
This recipe was good, I have a recipe that I normally use but this was just faster with fewer ingredients. I of course had a couple minor changes, I had no sour cream but I've tried that greek yogurt and thats what it tastes like (yuck) so I used it. I ran out of sugar so I substitued for a little bit of brown sugar and I also had to add cinnamon, whats banana bread without cinnamon??? And I don't ever slice bananas for my bread, always mashed, (it's fun to squish!) This will be a recipe that I probably use more often than not, it was moist, it was delicious and it was super easy!

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2012
These were perfect! They really tasted like chocolate chip cookies but in a brownie form. One of the other reviewers mentions it's almost like the "big fat best chewy chocolate chip cookie" recipe, which is my go to ccc recipe, so the only thing I added was an extra egg yolk, I did everything else as stated. I will probably make these again before the cookies only because I can never quite get my cookies to come out good and these were perfect. Thanks for the perfect sweet tooth recipe Sue!

Cheese-Stuffed Giant Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2012
I loved the idea of having your own personal lil loaves (we all fight over the ends) but after making it this way I don't like that it cooks in its own grease, I will go back to baking on a rack. As far as flavor, I don't the the progresso starters, it taste like watered down tomatoe sauce and left my lil loaves smooshy. Once you change things up and add more seasonings and omit certain things it just goes back to being your own meatloaf recipe :(

Oh my goodness! This is really a must try recipe, I've made it a few times now, who knew risotto could be so easy? I'm in love with bacon risotto!! I'm a little suprized at the 4 servings, it made enough for at least 6-8 people as a side dish. Thanks so much for the recipe!!

Ambrosian Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
I really enjoyed this. I used 1 chicken breast and pounded it to about an inch thick, dipped it in egg(per user review) and coated it in the panko coconut mixture. I used the baking method and it came out perfect! I didn't use the sauce however, I have a sauce I use for coconut shrimp (I had those ingred. on hand) its just orange marmalade dijion mustard and honey. Thanks for the recipe!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2012
This is the same way I make my banana bread except I add vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg (weird to not have them in there) and butter instead of shortning and I'm really wondering if the mayo is nessisary. I would have to say I love the addition of the cocolate chips and nice hint on dusting them with flour so they don't sink to the bottom. Thanks!

Italian Seafood Portobellos

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2012
Very good! I made them as a main course with large portobellos. Since I had so much crab left I didn't use the shrimp. It was a bit much as a main dish but I will def make again just as an appetizer.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
I'm suprized at the high rating of this dish. I thought it was alright but I won't make it again. The steak part wasn't bad, but the gravy was terrible. I would sugguest making a seperate brown gravy from the recipe and it will probably turn out better. I would rather spend the $3 for the encore meal..

Sauteed Apples

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
I made these as a side dish for dinner. These apples were perfect, everyone in my family loved them. I do think they need to have a lid on while cooking, mine didn't get too tender after 6 min. but as far as flavor I would have to say they're delicious! I didn't change a thing except for adding a tsp of vanilla, and I think they would be just as good if I didn't add it. I would love to try them on ice cream or in a pastry of some sort. These would also be a quick way to make an apple crisp. I will make these on a regular basis from now on.

This really was like eating rotisserie chicken from a store, even if I don't have time to cook it low and slow I always use the seasoning blend!
