Made this yesterday and it was so yummy. Per some suggestions I did adjust a few things: 1) 1/2 cup milk and was a great consistency for us, 2) used the leanest type of ground beef available at the market, resulting in less fat drippings, 3) for the glaze I mixed the Ketchup and brown sugar together, and added Worcestershire sauce to taste, 4) spread glaze on top of the loaf before cooking vs. placing on bottom, 5) 3/4 of a small onion chopped well with my chopper, folded into meat mix, 6) used fine plain bread crumbs vs. crackers, 7) used a small glass casserole dish vs. a loaf pan and it cooked perfectly.
