Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
This turned out so yummy- thanks for a great recipe! I've topped with cream cheese frosting- yum yum yum! Did use all of 60 minutes to cook my doubled recipe. Thanks again :)

Gelatin-Flavored Popcorn

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
This has become a must around our house for road trips, parties, and lazy days- thanks for a great recipe! I do only use 6 Tbs butter, 1/2 cup sugar and just stir boiling for four minutes as reccomended previously. I love that this is crunchy and not sticky!

Almond Mandarin Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2005
I first made this during this past summer and have taken it to several functions since- what a phenomenal salad! Previous reviews were very helpful and I did make multiple alterations: added craisins, use 1/2 oil and substitute canola, bell peppers instead of green onion, plain white vinegar instead of white wine (just used what I already had), Romaine lettuce instead of red leaf, added lemon juice and tabasco to dressing. As we were all eating this at a family get-together, my aunt even asked when I had "gotten so gourmet!" The almonds and bacon are especially good additions. A very fun to make, pretty and yummy salad!

Black Forest Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2005
I actually used this recipe this past summer on a camping trip in a dutch oven. All of my extended family loved it! My husband doesn't like cherry, so I used blackberry filling instead- very yummy. I put whipped cream on top for a nice treat around the campfire. The pineapple and coconut are great complimentary flavors with the berry filling. Thanks for a great recipe!

Cocoa Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2005
These are a great cookie to make with kids! My stepsons loved getting thier hands messy and "hiding" kisses inside. I did use more than a tablespoon for each, but it was all the same. Tasted great- nice texture. I used mint kisses- nice combination with the powdered sugar. A fun and yummy cookie!

Cowboy Cookie Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2005
Yet another five stars here- I also skipped the jar and just made the recipe for our Christmas party this year. These were a huge hit and they looked great! Love all the yummy stuff that pops out of the top of the cookie! I doubled the batch and probably wouldn't have needed too- kinda hard to mix the thick batter. Overall great recipe!

Cheesecake Topped Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2005
Previous reviews for this recipe were really helpful- I made some reccomended changes to use caramel on top instead of the frosting and also line the pan with sprayed foil. I served these at our Christmas party and they were yummy, but the two layers fell apart- no one seemed to mind too much, but they weren't a huge hit either. Personally liked them a lot- the cheescake mixture is great!

The Best Cheeseball

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2004
I made this cheeseball to take home as an appetizer for Thanksgiving and my family was so impressed. Then my husband took what was left to work and all his friends loved it. I'm taking this to every holiday party or family get together we go to this season! It was quick and easy to make also. I love the zest from the jalapeno. Instead of cilantro I rolled the ball in chopped almonds and it was great!

Unbelievably Awesome Barbeque Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2004
I love that this pizza is unique and such a crowd pleaser. Since the first time I made this recipe, my husband has requested it almost every time I've asked him for a dinner idea since. I also served this at a game night we had and all of our friends loved it. I like that it's pretty quick and uses mostly basic ingredients. A new favorite at our house!

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2004
My husband says this is his new favorite dish and asks me to make it every time I turn around. I liked that it was also relatively easy to prepare and used ingredients that, for the most part, I generally have on hand. Great recipe that I have no doubt I'll be making forever!
