Microwave Corn on the Cob

Perfection! What a great way to cook corn on the cob. I cooked three ears for 8 minutes turning halfway, and they were great. I don't think I'll ever cook it the old way again. Thank you Cheri!

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

A delicious light cream cheese taste! Good consistency that held up over time. I only whipped to soft peak stage and it was very creamy! It was not very smooth when spread, however. Will try to go to stiff peak stage to see difference next time.

Cheesy Quinoa Pilaf with Spinach

It was a bit hit with all the family. I used sliced almonds and smoked gouda and it was fabulous. The lemon really does make the dish - don't skip it if possible!

World's Best Lasagna

Made this w ground turkey and pork sausage with no fennel due to family taste. Sauce is awesome and lasagna was LOVED by all! I have found the lasagna I will always make. Thanks!!

Savory Pork Roast

Excellent taste and very easy recipe! I used three cloves and made the paste with olive oil several hours before hand to merge the tastes together! Delicious - entire family devoured it!

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

It worked the 2nd time!! My first effort was a disaster as I used high butter fat organic butter and organic sugar cane thinking better ingredients, better taste. Unfortunately, I stirred the whole time as some recommended and it separated terribly. Tried water but not great. My thermometer may have been the problem also as it said it was 300 and no amber color. I tossed and went to the butter from the freezer and granulated sugar. Only occasionally stirred it and didn't use the thermometer. I waited until the color was right and poured it in the pan. When I saw some separate melted butter I was scared, but decided to pour it off and hope for the best. Well, it is delicious and is beautiful with chopped bittersweet chocolate and ground almonds. A great taste and very smooth. Thank you all for your ideas. This finally worked for me!

Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry

Absolutely delicious. I used veggies on hand, broccoli, peppers, snow peas and carrots and it was wonderful. I substituted quinoa for rice and it was great with the salmon!

Steak Salad

Truly a great salad. I used the recipe for the dressing and added some other items. I roasted the red pepper and added roasted walnuts. I also added avocado and cucumbers. Definitely will make again and for company. Thank you.

Strawberry Cake III

Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers

Fast, easy and delicious. My husband compared it to one we shared in a chocolate Bento Box from Nobu restaurant in Tokyo. A huge compliment to say the least. I had it near the top of the oven and half didn't set well. Will lower next time and add a minute or so. Thank you for posting.

Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookie Logs

These may be my favorite cookies of all time; not too sweet and seem to melt in your mouth. My variation: put in some almond extract in addition to vanilla and substituted the choco chips with ground almonds. After cooled, I then topped with dulce de leche or chocolate and dipped in finely ground fresh coconut and/or almonds. Exceptional base recipe with so many options. THANK YOU!!!

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes

Great fall taste with a ginger punch. It was very dense and moist. I doubled the recipe but only only used 3 sticks of butter and one 1/2 cup natural applesauce. The crystallized ginger is a staple at WholeFoods and really does ramp up the taste! I used the Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting as it is not that sweet but a great compliment to this cake!

Marshmallow Fondant

I chose to make small portions per Littldot's instructions (2 cups marshmallows, 2.5tsp water, 1/4 tsp vanilla and 1.5 cups of icing sugar for each batch adding vegetable shortening on fingers when needed), and it worked perfectly. My first small batch was kneaded in about 10 minutes to get the right consistency! I did add coloring after AND it was a pain - Mix at the beginning!! This was my first time making fondant, and it was very easy, really! It has a great taste, and that is rarely the case with fondant! Try it in small portions if you are skeptical, it will change your mind!
