Creamy Chicken on Linguine

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2014
Very tasty and easy to make. The leftovers are a BIG hit with my family as well! I like to add sliced portobellos occasionally to change it up.

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2015
AMAZING! I followed the advice to use brown sugar and balsamic vinegar in the glaze and used a meat thermometer to determine when the loin was done. The result was fabulous-tender, flavorful and it looked nice on the platter as well. I will be making this again for sure.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2014
This is an amazing dish. I followed the advice to mix the sauce with the bottom layer of noodles and cover the dish while baking, and it turned out beautifully. It is even better the next day, so I cook this a day ahead and heat it up for dinner the next day. Always goes over really well when I take it for potluck lunches. Definitely a winner!

Great recipe! Made this with thighs and legs and it turned out terrific. Great with mashed potatoes and gravy for an old school Sunday dinner!

Easy Decadent Truffles

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2014
Super easy and very tasty. I tried rolling them in powered sugar, cocoa powder and a mix of both, but it is all a matter of taste. They do get a little sticky if they warm up too much.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2013
This is a terrific, quick meal that my whole family really likes. I add some BBQ sauce to the chicken while it is cooking to add a little flavor, as well as some garlic and spices to dress it up. The amount of cilantro is a bit much, so I adjusted that, too.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2014
Excellent, easy recipe! Family loved it so much that I took it to a potluck lunch at work where it was a huge hit! I use my uncle's family BBQ sauce recipe, but I also tried it with Sweet Baby Ray's and it was very tasty. The meat almost melts in your mouth.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2014
Terrific and easy! Be sure to pay attention to how spicy the chili sauce you use is, and adjust for your taste. Extremely tender and the whole family loved them!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2015
Excellent flavor and extremely juicy! I lowered the temp to 375 and doubled the sauce. I reduced the sauce just a bit and then poured part over the chicken before covering and baking for 15 minutes. I finished reducing the remaining sauce, uncovered the chicken and basted every 5-10 minutes for another half hour or so. Great recipe to make a very inexpensive cut of chicken into a wonderful meal!

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2015
Great Recipe!! After juicing all the key limes for this a chef friend of mine told me that our local grocer carries bottles of key lime juice, so I will definitely use that next time. For anyone who feels it is too tart try a dollop of whip cream on top. Really easy and amazing flavor.

Oven-Fried Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 15, 2015
Good recipe. I followed the advice of other reviews and used Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs. I will make this again, but to keep the breading from getting mushy I will put the chops on a rack, like another review recommended. Great flavor and very juicy!!

Good recipe with good flavor. None leftover after the party, and got lots of compliments.

Outrageous Warm Chicken Nacho Dip

Reviewed: May 27, 2014
Took this for a potluck at work and people were scraping the crock pot. Be sure to chop the onion very fine. I cooked the onion with the chicken and got really good flavor from it. UPDATE: Made it once without beans and it was good, too.

Midwestern Pork Tenderloin Sandwich

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2015
These sandwiches were excellent! My husband is from the midwest and loves a pork tenderloin sandwich and these totally satisfied his cravings. I did take the advice of other reviews to add more seasoning to the flour and corn meal and to prepare them and froze them and re-breaded them. The leftover breaded tenderloins even reheated well the next day for lunch.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2015
Really tasty with a few adjustments. I substituted teriyaki for 1/2 of the soy sauce because I ran out of soy sauce and it turned out very well. I also cubed the chicken and tossed it in flour prior to searing, then removed chicken from the pan and reduced sauce and added chicken after sauce had thickened, as other reviews recommended. I will definitely double the sauce next time, and I will continue the teriyaki and soy sauce combination because it would have been WAY too salty with the recommended amount of soy sauce. Great flavor and a nice warm finish without being too spicy.

Parmesan Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2013
This was a good recipe, but the cooking time definitely needs to be less as cooking chops to that degree will make them very dry. The breading needed more flavor and punch, so next time I will dress it up a bit.

This was OK but very similar to an Alfredo sauce. Not especially new or original.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

This was OK, but not 4 or 5 stars. If you watch the roast and don't over cook it this is a workable base recipe to play with and add to.
