About this Cook
I love to cook! I think it's a combo from my mom and dad. My mom likes to cook and my dad likes to bake. I've learned the basics from my mom and went from there!
My favorite things to cook
I always love to try new things! My favorites are always changing... That's why I love this website!
My favorite family cooking traditions
At Chirstmas time, my mom, sister and I bake 3-4 treats and then get together and assemble neighbor plates! It's fun to get together (without kids!) and taste what each other has made and spend time together. The best reward is when a neighbor tells you how yummy the plate was!
My cooking triumphs
Fried Ice Cream!! It was a hit!
My cooking tragedies
Frying donuts! I'll maybe attempt it again...

Linda's Lasagna
Best lasagna!! I HATE cottage cheese but LOVE it in this recipe!! I've tried ricotta cheese also and didn't like the texture of it. I like the creamy texture from blending the cottage cheese. Also, I prepared this the night before. I pulled it out of the fridge and put it in the preheated oven and baked 40 mins covered with foil and 20 mins uncovered.

The Best Banana Bread
This is the best banana bread I have made! I did half white sugar and half brown sugar, I used 4 bananas, added 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp vanilla. I used 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup all purpose flour. I also sprayed my bread pan with Pam and then coated it in sugar. SO good!!!

Tasty Green Beans
The ONLY way to eat green beans!!! The changes I made was I only added 1 TBS butter and I don't boil the beans before hand. I melt my butter and minced garlic and onion then add my frozen green beans, let those cook for a few minutes, then I add the rest. I have made these over and over!!
